Great restaurant. Doug the owner works very hard to ensure you have a great experience. The peppercorn steak sandwich is amazing. Cheese cakes made in house are great as well. Amazing small town restaurant with an owner that’s always there working so hard.!
I tried this place for breakfastduring one of my road trip. I ordered the traditional eggs, bacon and hash browns with toast and it was good- huge serving! Their coffee was weak but refillable though. They have Wi-Fi service. Nice, quiet, fast andfriendly service. Be back.
I’ve always liked the Granola bowl when I have been here for breakfast. But tonight we went for dinner. We had the special – I can’t remember the name of it but it involved pasta and shrimp. We both really enjoyed that, but it was the Tower of Cinn! That is why I am writing. The Tower of Cinn – it was deep fried pieces – yes, pieces – of cinnamon bun with some caramel sauce and whip cream. I love the cinnamon buns at the Forks, but this one, definitely my new favourite. I plan on driving out to Oakbank for coffee and a Tower of Cinn at least once a month! Taryn was our server – very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable. Colby, I think, was the name of the person who sat us. He has a very welcoming manner about him as well. Before we left, the owner came to talk to us and asked if we needed anything. We didn’t. 🙂
I’ve eaten here a couple of times over the past week, excellent menu selection and very good service. The food is pretty good, excellent nachos, sweet potato fries, sandwiches, etc. This is the ONLY place to eat in Oakbank, every other place is disgusting (this excludes the new place, Cravings, as I haven’t tried it yet).
Wonderful dining experience. My husband and I visited may long weekend. The service was bang on and the food was awesome! We both ordered steak. To our surprise the beef is from local farmers and aged on site.
The Cheesecake is awesome!. Although the food wasn’t very great, the CHEESECAKE is delicious! It’s worth making a trip to the Peppercorn for their dessert alone!
Good Food, Great Prices. We frequent The Peppercorn on a regular basis and are never disappointed with our orders. The staff are friendly and personal and the service is awesome. The drinks are priced great, the cheapest in town. It’s also a great family restaurant. If you’re looking for a good place to go for drinks with friends, The fireside lounge is perfect, the billiards are even free.
