Great price for Soy Chicken ($6) for 4 BIG pieces of juicy chicken, and half a duck ($12). The duck is a little more expensive than the chicken, but I LOVE eating duck so it’s worth it. Good and cheap source of protein for my pre-workout meals.
The food was not the same as before the food counter was taste gross now not unlike before there is some filipino food before its fake it looks like filipino food but it taste garbage!!!
Very cheap food, decent selection, cleaner than other supermarket ‘cafeterias’. $5.99 for a combo, can’t go wrong. you get 2 dishes and choice of fried rice or noodles. the carbs are on the heavy side and the two protein sections are very small. the selection always varies. if none of the dishes tickle your fancy their roast chicken with sides is a good choice. I’ve had both. springs rolls are good but not extraordinary. chicken was cold and i was expecting it super crunchy but that wasn’t the case. i tried their pho as well and while they were very generous with the protein, the flank was extremely fatty. i also tried their har gow and it was disappointing.
Bad Quality Fruits. There has been many times I bought some fruits and they end up being spoiled at the bottom of a saran-wrapped package. I hope their managers monitor the shelf life of fruits better so I don’t end up buying them and having to throw them out. This time we bought kumquats and it was for Lunar New Year. We live about 35 min drive from Lucky and of course it would be ridiculous to go back just for kumquats. Disappointed the third time with fruit quality.
They pretty much have everything you’re craving: tacos, curry, stir-frys… The downside is you have to prepare and cook the food at home 🙁
