Awesome Food !!!. By far the best Chinese food in the city …always fresh always delicious !!!…excellent prices 🙂
I loved it. I ordered for the first time Feb 2015 after reading the reviews on line, and driving by it 100 times. I phoned in a pickup order on a busy Saturday supper time from a VERY friendly person and was told 30inutes hour for pick up. Even when busy, I got my order in 35 minutes. Lot’s of customers were coming & going, so It seems the news is spreading that this place has great food.I loved my food. Deluxe fried rice yummy, shrimp with black bean yummy, breaded veal with honey garlic yummy. All the dishes I ordered I was very impressed with. Large portions too. I have a few favorite places I order from, and I would rank this place better.I will order again & try some of their spicier dishes this time…and can’t wait.
Mobile review. I recently just tried out this place after hearing many positive things about the restaurant. I LOVE their food, it’s an amazing bang for your buck. What really drove home was the fact that the people there were super considerate and nice. Don’t get me wrong, they gave me my order a little late but what can you expect from ordering on a Friday evening when everyone else is ordering too? I could see how exhausting it looked for the girls up at the front and there were some people over the phone and at the restaurant giving them heck when it wasn’t really necessary. Overall, great food, great people and great prices. Would definitely recommend this place but BEWARE the weekends as these their busiest times.
What happens to orders that aren’t pickup!?!……….. Placed a pickup order (live 3 minutes away). I’ve ordered before, so I know what to expect!The order was almost cold! Chicken balls looked like they’d been sitting around for some time, rice was all stuck together, and vegetables were soggy! The order had been sitting around for sometime, or other reason! I reluctantly ate half, and threw the other half in the garbage!I called 888 Chinese Express to express my dissatisfaction. I explained, they offered to make me another order, but not before making a excuse for it being cold; first they said it was because I took too long picking it up (I was early, and surprised it was ready)! They FAILED on that one!They then said the food was fresh! Fresh or not, if it sits around until it gets cold! FAILED AGAINChances are someone else ordered it and didn’t show up; thus it sitting around and being sold to me! I thanked them for NOTHING and hung up! I will never step foot in the place again!
Unreal!!!!!. I haven’t wrote a review before but this place was that good I had to. We have been searching for good Chinese food since our fav spot changed owners (and menu). This place was unreal!!!! The best food in the city hands down. Also so friendly, cheap and such huge portions!!!! Keep up the great work!
Not good at all. Based on their flyer free delivery for orders over $20 before taxes w/in 5 kms but my house is only 2.2 kms far from them and still charged for delivery. food arrived after an hour, i ordered beef curry and it doesn’t really taste curry besides you can’t really eat because its too spicy even you eat that with rice also their fried dumplings is more on wraps you can’t really taste the dumplings its like your eating fried wraps.
Best bang for the buck Chinese in the Peg. We most often are blown away by this restaurant because the food is awesome. Once in a blue moon the food isn’t as great as it can be but still amazing from a value standpoint. Best egg foo young in the city. Can’t go wrong here.
