Use to be good….not so much anymore!. I just stopped by to try a lunch combo as I have not had it in years. The woman pointed to the menu showing me the combo that said it included consomme soup, rice, assorted veggies, dessert, fortune cookie and your choice of a meat dish. Wow that sounded like a pretty good deal for $6.95….well turns out you only get soup & dessert if you eat in…okay… that sucks! The portion size is also much smaller than I remember it to be, with the mixed veggies consisting of just a few measly pieces of broccoli. I am a small eater and this was barely enough for me, I remember years ago they piled it so high and I could never finish my meal. overall way too salty and left a bad taste in my mouth! Guess I will stick with 4 Seasons!!
Must be a new chef. It was the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had! Wonton soup was clear broth with two wontons, no vegetables nor meat in it, sweet and sour soup was clear liquid as well, spring rolls were weird folded things. And the chicken with Szechuan sauce looked like borscht and the meat tasted unidentifiable! All in all – disgusting!
AMAZING!. Five Spice is an amazing place. Friendly people who really try to get to know you! The lady always has a smile on her face! For the price the food is amazing, if you ask me it is under priced. Their chicken is actually chicken not lunch meat like so many of those other restaurants put in their food. I am addicted to this place. I have never been disappointed. So if you are looking for REAL meat (not that lunch mock chicken meat) I suggest you save your money by coming to this place. Not the greatest area, but hey it is a hidden gem!
Awesome food at a great price!. Ok, It’s not the best chinese food in the world, but its pretty darn good, especially for the price. Pay no attention to some of these reviews, because it really isnt bad at all. The lady there doesnt speak english very well, but is very friendly. Food always comes fast. I recommend the five spice chicken… delicious! You can really taste the seasoned wok in the food, which i love. overall, If you are looking for good chinese food in large portions for a low price, you cant go wrong here.
Good but not Great. We had a large order for a group of 10 for take out. No one complained but then no one raved about it. Its not the old Five Spice we knew. It was edible but nothing out of this world. Probably try a different chinese food place next time.
Great Chinese!!. One of the best places I’ve had chinese food! The lady is super hard to understand but very friendly. I just can’t make out what she’s saying and will try to make conversation with you. Good prices and good food. Try the Sesame Chicken.
Pretty Good. The 2 dishes that we ordered were pretty good but nothing to rave about. I went in thinking it would have a more traditional Chinese menu with a name of five spice but learned that it was more Western Chinese food. The price was good and service was decent. We were the only ones in the restaurant and I felt rushed to order because the waitress kept coming back and suggesting everything on the menu. Will probably go back for a quick fix of Chinese food.
