DELICIOUS multiculturalism. What could be more of a delicious serving of Canada than Butter Chicken Poutine? How has no one thought of that before? Delicious.Butter chicken itself? Transcendent.Specially made veggie wraps? Unreal.Fried chicken? Crunchy and truly finger-licking good.Indian pizzas? Superbly flavourful and delectable.Go Go GO to this place! We tried Desi’s for the first time today by ordering online via skipthedishes.com – it was great! The prices are totally reasonable. We got 2 medium pizzas, 2 samosas, and two orders of naan for $30 (and free delivery because our order was over $25). The Gobi pizza was fantastic, the Tandoori Chicken pizza was also good. The portions of naan were huge and the samosas were a little on the cool side, but still good. Delivery was reasonable at about 50 minutes. Will be ordering again. Had no issues with customer service due to ordering online thru a 3rd party website.
This place has horrible customer service. Both times I’ve gone there they have been out of many items that I wanted to order, At first I thought it was because it was late at night. But then I called at 6 PM on Saturday and they were out of the chicken kebabs and the chicken pakora. They obviously are too lazy to cook it or just too lazy to buy enough food. When ordering they told us it would be about half an hour. We arrived there to pick it up after half an hour and then had to wait there for another 30 minutes while they made our food. They were rude and unhelpful. They clearly do not care about their customers being satisfied. And also they do not care about having fresh food available and supplying customers with items on the menu. Why even bother owning a restraunt? The pakoras were old and spongy/hard. The other items were OK at best. Overall a bad experience time and time again, we kept going back because it was close, but this time we decided will be the last! I would rather drive downtown to get good service and food.
Nonsense food and stupid customer service at Desi Pizza. I visited Desi Pizza last week… OMG so stupid the lady at the front. And the food i received was cold and so hard to eat. Their pizza was like a wooden plank. The butter chicken was cold and hard to eat because so stupid taste. The worst thing was the unwelcoming behavior and so rude behavior by the lady at the front. I visited there before in November I felt good and nicely treated by the customer service rep and the food was also eatable. Totally dissatisfied this time with the service and food.
Henderson Location. We just brought home our take out from the new Henderson location. Never, ever again. We threw our two Thali plates out. The Daal was inedible as was the curry chicken and paneer was vile. Honestly it has the dubious honour of a place in the worst 3 restaurants we have ever been too.
I go in desi’s and eat their Samosas all the time. They are very addicting samosas. The wedges and fried chicken is a combo they offer for a cheaper price, instead of buying them seperately. I bought them as a combo. The buttermilk chicken was delicious, but the wedges taste like their wasn’t much effort put into them. I only like there french fries. It’s very crispy, except the wedges because they taste okay. I don’t order there pizza alot because the sauce in it dries out fast. I would usually prefer them fresh from the oven. Can’t keep my hopes up for a decent price pizza slice for a dollar and plus tax.
Everyone in this city has to try the butter chicken pizza. It’s unique and tasty also the prices are fairly decent too.
