Amazing food, great prices. Their noodle soups are the best – super fresh and very flavourful! As a bonus they have a daily special that is $5!!!!! Doesn’t look like much, but it’s always busy. Wasn’t a big fan of the won ton or hot and sour soups, but everything else I’ve had here has been outstanding.

I live down the street and ordered takeout yesterday for the first time from this place. Absolutely wonderful, fresh, authentic chinese food. I ordered chicken chow mein, kung pao, sweet n sour pork, and all were delicious. I’m glad to know I have such a great restaurant so close to home!! Excited to try here again, perhaps will try dining inside! Nice surprise!Update: I finally had the chance to dine in here on Friday evening, September 25 2015. I was absolutely impressed. I tried some appetizers, and sampled 4 different dishes. Each and every one of them was delicious. This restaurant specializes in ethnic Chinese food, not your typical Canadian-style dishes. I recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed. May I suggest Golden Shrimp? They were huge and so perfectly breaded. Just wonderful!
Madly in love with the Hsieh Family Restaurant. I absolutely ADORE this restaurant. I’ve been going once or twice a month for almost three years and I’ve never once had a bad experience. The servers now recognize me and my fianc on sight and remember our orders, now THAT is some top notch service. It’s always packed full of Asian people, usually I’m the only white person in the place which is a sign of some damn good, authentic food. I love this place more and more every time I come there. The beef and chicken chow mein are unbelievable and the spicy beef noodle soup is on special on Wednesdays which means it’s a cauldron of soup (enough for 2-3) for I think $6. Unbeatable.
Delicious Chinese Food. I love this place. We always pick up our order so I can’t comment on the table service, but everyone is always friendly when we pick up our food and the staff are super helpful on the phone. The beef chow mein is AMAZING, the wonton soup is also great. We have ordered other dishes, I can’t remember exactly, but everything we have ever ordered was great. The portions for take out are HUGE! The food always seems authentic, it was recommended to us by some of our chinese friends. Everytime we went by the restaurant (it was in our old neighbourhood) it was/is always full of chinese customers, a very good sign.Definitely a gem.
