The worst pizza I have ever ordered! Had one piece and the kids had to be bribed to finish theirs. PLUS…. if you look up the owner…. apparently he’s a real hot head on the local kids hockey scene and their parents’. Picks fights and threatens other parents!! Really??We’re done Frank! Never again.
First off I havent had Franks pizza in about 9 years, as I used to live in East Selkirk way back when. We would get Franks Pizza all the time and it was amazing! I have just found as of recently that there was another location that opened up in the city and I was excited to having that amazing pizza again. Well it wasnt like how I remembered at all…dough was chewy and almost seemed rawish. We got the Franks combination, toppings were scarce and there wasnt that amazing thick layer of cheese on it like I remembered either. The other pizza we got was a beef, with sausage and bacon, all around pretty bland and tasteless. The sauce seemed to be the same as I remember but not alot on it. I wont be going back, maybe next time Ill just have to go to Selkirk and try it there.
Overpriced. Staff wasn’t especially helpful. No variety or options compared to many other pizza joints. Doesn’t use fresh ingredients (eg canned mushrooms). Nearly $20 for a Frank’s Combo medium pizza, which other places charge between $9-$14 for.
Yah!. Great pizza ! But only when the blonde, short girl makes it. I notice the sloppiness from the other cooks and when she makes it it comes out the size it should be and the toppings are spread out evenly. The other cooks need to learn off of her!
Pizza is good but it would be the same level as santa lucia if added a little more tomato sauce!
Great Service. The service was fantastic as they were very friendly and helpful. As well you could tell they pride themselves on quality and not quantity when it comes to pizza. The pizza was flavorable with lots of toppings and nice and cheesy.
First time I ordered from here. I thought that the pizza must be pretty good if they been in business 40 years. I will never make that assumption again. I ordered 2 medium pizzas and 20 wings with regular bbq sauce and paid $60. In the end, all I had was very expensive garbage. I had the franks combo pizza and tropical chicken. The toppings were great but the sauce and crust were terrible. The crust was bland, flat and had a sawdust texture. There was no sauce on both pies – the crust acted like a giant wick and pulled all the moisture from the toppings into it. The crust disintegrated in my mouth while I chewed and I felt like I was left with a mouth full of sawdust to choke down. I managed to choke down a slice of each determined to give it an honest chance that I ended up gagging at the thought of eating anymore. The wings did not impress me either. I hated the sauce and the breading of the wings. I ended up stripping the wings down to meat to make them more palatable but ended up letting the top eat the meat. I was sooooooo hoping to be blown away. Instead, I’m extremely disappointed and $60 poorer for trying.
