Great ice cream, bad service. I agree with the other posts that the Cold Stone Creamery ice cream is far superior to the Marble Slab but what this location gets wrong is their ability to make the sundaes. The staff, who are really tim horton’s staff trying to make cold stone creamery ice cream, seem to have trouble figuring out what goes into the signature sundaes that they have posted on the wall and most importantly they don’t know how to work the ice cream. When in the states I went to a cold stone location and they fold the ice cream and toppings together over and over to get a real mix but at the main street timmy’s they just fold it over once or twice and you end up with ice cream on the outside and the mixings in the center. I tried manitoba’s other location in Selkirk MB and they get it right and their customer service was spot on as well. I don’t go for ice cream often but it is worth it for me to take a drive out and get it done right, stopping at Barney Gargles for dinner first, of course.
SO good.. This is much better than any Marble Slab. I will make the trek out to this one any day rather than go to the MS down the street. It’s fresher and has better flavours. My husband and I were delighted to see a Cold Stone come to the city. It’s highly recommended! Enjoy!
Don’t know about overpriced ice cream, go to the scoops next door! or down the block to spotted cow. But I am a fan of Timmy’s but you have to check the drive thru orders before you leave. More of then then not they are becoming like any other drive thru and get it wrong.
A Dream Come True. Cold Stone in Winnipeg? I’ve died and gone to heaven. THE best ice cream I’ve ever had.
