We have have had take out and been in this restaurant at least 10 times over all. We have switched from our normal sushi restaurant to this one. As you can see we keep coming back. While I agree, if you go when it is busy, you can wait a bit for your food, the wait is worth it. We generally order Sashimi and rolls. The Sashimi variety is excellent in the assorted plate. The special Red Tuna is excellent as is the Tuna and Salmon tataki. We tend to not order the rolls that have the fake crab stick, but there is enough variety that you can get what you want and we have not been disappointed. We will keep coming back!
I have been this place more than five times, and I satisfied with Nigiri and rollevery time. The sushi was excellent and very healthy (not too sweet and salty for me). Also, the place was beautiful and clean. All the sushi was fresh with a reasonable price.
Service was extremely slow, and the sushi wasn’t worth the wait.
I’ve been there twice and the food and the service was great I will definitely go there again even by myself.btw I recommend the shrimp tempura and the bulgogi. Also the presentation on the plate was really nice. Lastly, the place itself was modern and clean looking. This one deserves an A+ for sure.
I wanted so much to like this restaurant as I am resident of sage creek and I want to support local business, however I do not accept mediocrity. I had eaten here four times since it has been opened considering it has been open less than a year I would say that is enough to give a fair appraisal of this restaurant. I think the sushi is alright is a fair , however they have there priorities backwards and focus on take out only. Do not eat at this restaurant and expect to get good service or your food in a timely manner. They will take your order and then fill all the take out orders while you wait for your food. I am very disappointed that I will not be coming back to this place as it is so close to our house. There are many sushi places to choose from in Winnipeg.
I’ve tried a lot of sushi places here in Winnipeg, and needed to try this new one out in sage Creek. It is by far up in the top 3 sushi places I’ve ever tried. Very clean in there, super fast and friendly staff plus I got my rolls within 5-10 min! I definitely will be taking people here for sushi! we tried the spicy scallop, dynamite and some crunchy crab roll (all delicious).
Tried this place on Saturday night and enjoyed the selection on the menu. The Korean ribs were amazing, but I found the rolls were overly fishy and not the freshest tasting, and the udon was mushy and the broth was pretty bland. The seafood in my udon soup was also weird, in that the shrimp still had their legs on and the mussels were tough. I will try again though since it is close to home and there are many other choices on the menu, to try.
