RL has been one of our favourite restaurants for years. Last couple of visits we arrived ~4:30 and were told it would be >15 min wait. (Once we questioned why there were empty tables and they said they were short staffed.) We asked to dine in the bar. On both occasions, service was very good, food was fine. Prices have gone up since we were last there and now soup/salad is not included with dinner entrees.
The Swizzle Styx dined here last week and it was ok. Service was excellent and the restaurant is nice. The food was ok, nothing exceptional but thats what to expect with a chain restaurant.
This right here is one of the very best places for seafood in the city! I love your free biscuits. I cant get enough. Butter crab and lobster…. mouth watering. Makes me want to go rn!
Had given up on Red Lobster years ago… overpriced, poor service and worn decor. Tonight we decided to try it – the lure of unlimited shrimp was too tempting… WOW! WHAT A SURPRISE!!!We were told there would be a 15 minute wait for a table for four and a chair on the end, or an hour wait for a table for six to seat our group of five. We opted for the shorter wait. They actually got us a proper table… bang in 15 minutes! Our server was attentive and pleasant, we NEVER had to ask for refills of drink or shrimp and the shrimp was excellent- always cooked perfectly and brought to the table hot. The decor has been updated as well, very nice and although they were completely booked, the sound level was comfortable. The manager also came to see if everything was acceptable… I rarely give a perfect 5 but for tonight’s visit I give them a very grateful 5. Thank you, Red Lobster… I will be back!
Not sure what the fuss is about? Yes, if you want to stuff your face with endless shrimp for $23.00 then this is the place for you, just stay away from the biscuits or you will fill up. The service and staff were very friendly and prompt. Of course, there was a line-up and no where to park, but it was a lot quicker than expected. Overall you get what you pay for with this place.
Had dinner tonight I ordered the sea side trio which was shrimp linguini garlic shrimp and walts shrimp with mashed potatoes. My other half ordered the ultimate feast with fries they mixed up our sides on our plates no big deal.. our food did not seem super fresh it seem to possibly been sitting in the window for a while but still had good flavour the server seemed per occupied or not very attentive didn’t come back after we got our food till we were almost finished. We go to red lobster usually 2 times a year to celebrate occasions defiantly not our best experience this time.
