We went to the Jay Pharoah show on Mar.3. The show was outstanding, and our server Jacquelyn was good. We ordered a bucket of beer and nachos, and the couple we were with had ordered dinner prior to us getting there. The nachos were ok at best (not $19 good, but ok).Will definitely be back as rumors has some pretty great names come through for such a small club.
I find the service to be as good as you can expect for a comedy show, if you want constant attention and quick refills during the show you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. the nachos are probably the best (safest) thing on the menu, and it’s sized to share.
Good laughs. Comedians are as offensive as the food. Do not eat the food here, you will regret it. Ypu may as well burn the 40 or so bucks youd spend on food. It would be more satisfying. A bag of chips from the shell would be a better choice.
Had the spinach dip there a few weeks ago. It taste so bland – usually I love spinach dip. Will not ever order that again. I’ve also had the hamburger in the past. Nothing to brag about. Fried pickles – I would have again (you can’t really go wrong with that!). Agree with those who said to go elsewhere to eat before the show. Comedy is always hit or miss, but I’ve always really enjoyed the shows!
The comedy was better. Cheeseburger came on a hard bun, fries were dry, and the gravy was less like gravy and more a thin, clear sauce. Oh well. The sex on the beach was nothing to write home about. They could do better. Their waiters are rushed, too.
I went to Rumors last night and enjoyed the comedy. I didn’t enjoy the cheeseburger that I had, although the fries were OK. One of the people with me ordered the spinach dip and was unimpressed. She offered me taste but I declined as I’m sure that spinach dip shouldn’t look the way that dish looked. I also split a plate of nachos with the table and found that it was not warmed through and the chips seemed slightly stale. I will say that the service was exemplary. I can’t remember the last time that my server was so attentive and helpful. Great service and comedy, not so great food.
Awesome place. We had such a great time at Rumors comedy club. Our server was amazing (Jacqueline I think) beautiful and sexy too, food was good, comedy was great. I will be back! Thanks rumor’s!!!
