Niceplace to go for lunch buffet. Great selection of foodat reasonable price. Service can be slow duringpeak hours. The place has never been the same after the renovations. Will try it again when I’m in the area.

Winnipeg’s Best Sunday Buffet !. The Baron of Beef is absolutely perfect ! The salads, soups and extra’s that the Buffet offers is so Fresh and obviously prepared and cared for by a most professional staff. This place is spotless. I look forward to go here for an evening out to sample more of what the menu offers. For now my only experience has been the Sunday Buffet and let me tell you it is solid quality and you will leave full and absolutely content !Sincerely, Honest Winnipegerp.s. The Gort Dining Roomt has likely the Best Horse Radish you will ever taste !!

Had the breakfast, steak and eggs. Hash browns were cold, my med rare steak was well done and blackened. We are lucky better places to eat are within walking distance of the hotel.

Above Average Buffet. Had the opportunity of going for the Sunday brunch here yesterday and was plesantly surprised by the quality relative to most other buffet choices in Winnipeg. The Sunday burnch include manicotti, chicken florentine and a quiche in addition to the standard breakfast items you would expect. A stand out item for my group was the crepes which had an excellent combiniation of flavours. There also was the fairly standard omlet station with made your omlet to order. Other items available were cut fruit and veggies, chesse and a salad bar. Include in the price of the buffet was unlimited juice and cofee. Our server was also attentive enough to be easy to reach when needed without being overly intrusive. The layout of the place suggests that their primarily setup to offer buffet service but a menu is also available. Finally, in terms of costs, it is easily on par with the current buffet chain in town which is a bonus as beverages as they do not include beverages and the food quality is lower there.Definitely worth checking out and based on this visit I am planning to try their dinner buffet.

Disappointing. Made a reservation for Saturday Roast Beef Night. Waited several minutes to be seated whiiloe the hostess chatted on the phone. We ordered a bottle of wine for my in-laws and myself. My husband ordered a beer. He specifically asked that both the beer and white wine be cold. The wine promplty came – room temperature, and with only a couple icecubes in the bottom of the wine cooler. My husband’s beer came 15 minutes later – warm. This may be a fine place to dine with children, or for a quick stop while travelling, but it is not for a nice night out.

I am also a regular customer however I have stuck around. The prices went up yes but this at times is necessary. The food is great and the staff is super friendly. There really is no beating their 3.99 breakfast special. Don’t knock it till u try it 🙂

Get rid of the new manager!. We were regulars of Teddy’s for Saturday morning breakfast. They had very good food, reasonable prices and excellent staff. Then they got some idiot in as manager who decided that jacking up bacon and eggs from $5 to $8 was a sound business move. Needless to say, their regulars no longer go there – and I know this as I know some of the staff. This new manager has effectively chased away the regulars, leaving only the travel-weary occupants to take their chances there. And the excellent staff? I think they will soon be gone – they have gone from getting excellent tips to augment their wages to living on minimum wages. It’s really too bad. We have not gone back since – the food is good but not that good!
