Worst cake and customer service ever. We were looking to buy a cake for our wedding. We got referred to the website but there is really not much online, We decided to go in person, the bakery was empty and by looking at the reviews here, I can see why! We spoke to the owner and she still referred us to the website and she warned to charge us $25 if we wanted to boom a tasting session. To save cash, we bought 2 cupcakes, 1 vanilla and the other tiramisu. After dinner, my fianc and I split both cupcakes in half to taste each one. Both cupcakes were pretty much all icing, the cake was dry and flavorless. The icing tasted like shortning. It was the worse cupcake I have ever had and with the service we received, we decided to go elsewhere. This used to be a good bakery when the previous owners had it but it has gone downhill. With all the selections available, go elsewhere, save the trip!
Don’t Like It. I have to agree, I was excited about All About Cakes, but the cake is extremely heavy, I really don’t like it. Sorry. We were testing out which cake to get for my brothers birthday party, and this was crossed off of our list. We dumped out they entire cake. Don’t go to this place, looks can be deceiving.
I went in the bakery to purchase some bread but they don’t have anything baked that day which is a little disappointing because I’ve had their bread before and they were so good. I ended up purchasing a couple of their small pretzels to try and i was so glad that I did because they are so good! I ended up buying some cookies, a lemon and red velvet cupcakes and a few macaroons. Cookies were good, my wife loved the cupcakes although the icing were a little too soft. But you can taste the real butter which is good. The creamcheese icing on the red velvet is on my top 5. The lady who served me was very nice and very helpful. She was so patient and answered all my questions. Macaroons were good although I hope they were a little bigger. Overall, i like this place. They carry a whole variety of different treats. I will come back and try something else!
Dessert heaven. I just wanted to thank you for the delicious dainty and cookie platters! My son and guests just couldn’t have enough of them! They are delicious and not too sweet. I should have ordered more! Can’t wait for the next special event! You will for sure hear from me again!
I have tried about 10 different items from this bakery and I was not overly impressed with any of them. I find the icing waxy and the cookies lack flavour. I was so excited a new bakery opened so close to me because backed goods are such a weakness for me but sadly I had to give up on this place.
I saw all about cakes ad on the lance news paper a few weeks ago,so I decided to stop by and pick up a dozen cupcakes to try it out. They were delicious, the icing is not too sweet, everybody at home and my friends loved it. I will recommended this bakery 100%.
Good variety!!!. They carry a good variety of desserts! Cupcakes, slices, french macarons, cake pops and pretzels! My favorites are the french macarons (lots of flavors to choose from) lemon, coconut and black forest cupcakes! Their prices are very reasonable!.
