After a serious burrito craving, and discovering that Burrito Splendido was based in Winnipeg, rather than being a newer national chain as I’d assumed, I had to check out the St. Vital location. Upon arriving, I noted that the establishment was clean and inviting. The staff member helping me was friendly, attentive and cheerfully explained all the topping options that weren’t apparent at a glance (such as the different salsas).I ordered a large barbacoa burrito to go, and I have to say that it was rather fantastic! Not only was it a more than generous serving, but everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The tortilla was heated on a grill before the ingredients were added, and I observed that a food scale is used to ensure that customers receive a consistent amount of meat on their orders, which I think is a great idea.Overall, a tidy, inviting establishment with fast, friendly service and tasty menu items. What more can I say, except that I’ll be back!
Love it. Great Burritos. It is my favourite burrito place in the city. Will definitely be back. Love their ingredients. They are fresh. Great option when you are in a rush and don’t feel like a burger
Enjoyed yet another scrumptious meal at Burrito splendido St.Vital! I haven’t tried the whole menu (yet) but so far everything I have tried has been delicious (tacos, soup, burritos and cookies). I’ve never left disappointed or hungry! Not only is the food to die for the service is always great. Very friendly and informative staff. The dining area is always nice and clean, staff are always ensuring tables are cleared for the next guests. I’ve recommended Burrito Splendido to many friends and colleagues and will continue to do so! Thanks Burrito team for great service and incredible food, Winnipeg loves you guys!
Tried this restaurant for the first time through skip the dishes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND 1. Paying in cash 2. Ordering through skip the dishes 3. Ordering from this place at all. Food arrived cold and BOTH places refused to do anything about it. Spent over $50 for quality that is no where near edible
This is one of my favourite spots in the city to grab a burrito or taco. The food and service are always top notch!!! I highly recommend the fish tacos when they’re available!
Expect the unexpected … placed an order and then saw our food dropped/thrown into a takeout bag. Who does that!!!The food wasn’t great … just good. Quantity was pathetic compared to other similar restaurants considering the price. Would have rated a 3.0 if our food wouldn’t have been thrown in the bag.
Pretty good burritos, but they tend to be overfilled and hard to eat. Also, I’m a little suspicious of the rice. Great service and decent prices.
