Over the years ordering pick up from Gondola I have had ok to horrible pizza from Britannica. I had food poisoning from a side bacon pizza, and that was eatingonlytwo pieces from a large. I took the rest back and thegirl at the cash register, who argued with me that it was fresh baconor itcould have been bad tomatoesauce, which can easily cause food poisoning.She finally gave me my money back. Gondola is so overpriced because of the qualitythey now offer in a pizza menu. Stick to the 7.99 and 10.99 2 topping special, at the least you can feed it to the dog if it is burnt, or undercooked or has so little topping on it. Or betteryet, buy a decent frozen pizza, doctor it up with the toppings you like with herbs and spices and olive oil, be creative, buy a pizza stone, bake it on there.You will beamazed at what a fresh, semi homemade pizza can taste like and you canavoid food poisoning and another badtake outpizza joint experience!
Splendid. Not once have these guys let me down. Every time I don’t want to cook, I order Gondola and they make my night! Last time I ordered, I got delivery and they quoted me within the hour and I’ ll be darned if it didn’t arrive in half an hour! Seriously, these guys are just great and so is their food! YUM OMG. ORDER TODAY YUMMMMM.
Great service with even better employees!. I’ve been ordering from gondola for the past couple of months as I recently moved to the area and its one of the better pizza places in the area. I can say that I’ve never had a bad experiance! The manager Kevin is always pleasure to speak with and is a very kind guy! My order is always fresh, on time and delicious! And surprisingly im always greeted by the same delivery driver Nick! Definitely will be a life long customer! And my advice, try the BBQ chicken pizza or there Northen Heat wings, you will not be disappointed!
Best pizza with the best service. I live in St boniface and after several terrible experiences at another location, I was done with gondola pizza. Recently, my brother had us over to watch a jets game and ordered gondola from the south location. We received our pizza hot and fresh within 30 minutes. But I was met with a pep mush when I ordered a pep bacon. When we called the store, the manager was quick to apologize and said he would get another out to us immediately. Not only was this accurate as we received the replacement within 20 minutes, we were advised we could keep the incorrect pizza as their way of apologizing for the mistake. This is the kind of customer service that keeps customers coming back. The pizza was crisp and delicious just as I remembered it from years ago. Definitely recommend this location. I still love in St boniface, but I will gladly make the drive to obtain this kind of service and quality.
Burnt but ready on time !!. I’m sitting here as I type eating my burnt Gondola pizza. My dog is getting a fair portion of it because she’ll eat anything I don’t want…well almost…she sure loves this pizza though. I even tipped the fellow at the store 2 bucks, when I picked it up. I consider Gondola Pizza a treat when my wife is going out for supper. Well I think that idea is a done deal.. This is the second time in a row that Gondola has screwed up my pizza. I think its time I just stayed with Pizza Hotline as I’ve NEVER had any problems with their food. I’ve been eating Gondola Pizza for over 40 years and have noticed a steady decline in their ability to have a consistly good pizza. Maybe its just this location, as I’ve been ordering from this location for about 3-4 years. Good-bye Gondola..its been a slice…
Awful rip off. Short on toppings, undercooked and I will never again order from this store in St. Vital.. I am a senior and a long time customer of Gondola Pizza since the 70’s. We usually order from either Charleswood or Pembina location and have always been pleased with your delicious pizza. On Jan.17/2015 we ordered a boss pizza ($32.76) from your St. Vital location and found the whole experience unpalatable. You left our family with a feeling of having been ripped off.This store will destroy your franchise if you don’t take immediate action to rectify.
Good pizza. I can’t believe theses bad reviews. I have ordered from here over 10 times and has always been very good.
