I love Greek food ! Their gyros and Taziki sauce are great ! Their is never a line so no wait is needed for food. My go to eating spot when I’m shopping

What the…. Gyros are supposed to be caramelized lamb blend fresh sliced off a roasting spit…not pre-sliced soaking in a tub of hot water for days! The soggy slop soaks through the almost raw pita creating a sick doughy mess they then slather with bland commercial dressing and slap on a plate with a ‘gimme da money and get lost’ attitude…if anyone thinks this is good Greek food in a city as full of excellent Greek places like Winnipeg you really need to get out more.

Fresh salad, but chicken is salty. I was impressed they put most of the salad ingredients together when you order – super fresh. Chicken seems to be that salt – injected stuff you can get cheaper at the grocery store. Good flavour. Still a better meal than what else you can get at the mall.

Great, fast, cheap food. When I worked at the mall a few years ago, my usual lunch was a veggie platter from Jimmy The Greek (not having meat makes the dish even more affordable). The lemon potatoes are heavenly, and the tzatziki sauce is the runny kind that can coat the rice and mix with the salad dressing for some extra intrigue. Service was always friendly and fast. Still my number 1 pick when I visit St. V!

Best in St. Vital food court!. I sometimes drive across town to St. Vital center just to have a platter from Jimmy. I really appreciate how he remembers me even though I don’t visit as often as I like. Very well done menu from top to bottom and wonderful restauranteurs regardless of the fact they’re located in the mall. They really bring food court quality and standards to a new level and I have no doubt they’d flourish in their own setting. I recommend everything on their menu as I’ve pretty well had most all of it! 🙂

Great option in St. Vital Mall. For mall food, Jimmy the Greek delivers. I got the gyro dinner plate which really fills you up, and is enough for leftovers later. A generous portion of meat (the gyro is a bit salty though) and lots of carbs like rice and potatoes. Their Greek salad is pretty tasty, and overall the dinner was inexpensive at $11 including a drink if you consider the portions are gigantic. I still prefer Opa for the Greek mall food, but if you’re in St. Vital this place is good too if you want to skip the burger and fries.

Tried it once… And kept going back for more! For ‘mall food’, Jimmy the Greek goes above and beyond whats expected. The first time I got food from here, I got the chicken souvlaki on a pita with salad. Chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection, vegetables were crisp and clean. Overall a delicious meal. When I went a week later on my break, I got the chicken souvlaki dinner. It’s a chicken skewer, with greek salad, a heaping amount of rice, and lemon potatoes.Needless to say, I was sharing my meal with my co-workers because the portion was so big and simply delicious. The chicken was perfect, yet again. The rice was flavourful and packed with peas and carrots. The potatoes had a lemon flavour, but weren’t overwhelming. The salad was great as usual, I loved the fact that they ask you what you want on it.The service here is great, the only barrier is that the man who usually works the food bar has a very thick accent, and talks very fast. He began conversing with me one day, since i’ve become a regular, and I found it very difficult to keep up. Even though this poses as a barrier, he is still thoroughly friendly and pleasant.
