I’ve been ordering from Miriwa for about five years now it’s my go to Chinese restaurant after trying numerous one this is the one that stood out with amazing food , friendly service , and great flavours . The chickenBalls are amazing with sauce on the side when ordering take out it keeps them crisper longer the Shanghai chow mein is the best sometimes the dishes are different based on who’s cooking but overall still amazingly delicious !
Waste of money.. Over the years the quality of this restaurant has gone down significantly. The food is greasy and flavourless. They can never seem to get my order right and when I speak to management they act like I’m inconveniencing them. I walk out of the restaurant today stating I will never return again. Awful service, awful food.
I ordered ginger beef but they gave me ginger chicken instead. I live far away to go back and complain, so I had decided to give the dish a try. The chicken has an old and off putting taste, and it does not seem fresh. Very dissapointing!
Restaurant is very good and the waitresses are very friendly. Some people complain about the owners being rude but they’re actually very nice people they just yell because that’s how they are and sometimes have trouble understanding what you’re trying to tell them. I saw one review saying they had deli turkey roll in their chicken chop suey but I know for a fact that’s wrong, they don’t have any turkey. Very yummy food
Repeat Offender. I have slowly just started ordering from other resturants that are further away, Mirawa is a block away so i always go back and see if they’ve improved on the items i would mention to them…. Sadly i’m diappointed with myself for trying them yet another time…. I would say in the last 4 years the rice has been all stuck together in one big starchy ball that doesn’t come apart at least 90 percent of the time…. Such a small item but when the rest is just average, it really bring the whole meal down…
Very poor service. I have been ordering from here for over 10 years and i have never had such poor service as i did tonight. I had ordered the Cantonese soup which i had thought was the deluxe soup that i wanted i called the restaurant to ask for the order to be corrected and was greeted with a screaming employ, was called stupid and then was told this was what you order and then he hung up promptly. I then called back to speak with the manager or owner of the business to found out that the person that had hung up on me was the owner of the restaurant after about a 10 minute confrontation and trying to reason with the owner I handed the phone to my daughter who was going to try and defuse the situation the owner then yelled at her and hung up again on us. My daughter who works in a family restaurant then called back to try and talk with the owner and tell him that he could of handled the situation much better, was then talked over and hung up on again. This was probably the worst service I have had in my life, the food was greasy and cold, the costumer service was worst of the worst i have even had, and the saddest part was that it was the owner that had treated us this way. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant.
Probably the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Everything tasted old and soggy. I would not recommend going.
