Ordered and was very unimpressed. Everything was very average, nothing standing out. Except actually for the very watery consomm soup. It was so bland and tasted like hot beef water. The veal was tender but the breading had no real standout flavour or crispy-ness. The fried rice was also lacking in the flavour department and the spring rolls were soggy. However, they did have tons of veggies in them.
Had delivery this evening for Chinese. Ordered 5 items and got a free dish. Which was chicken fried rice. Deluxe Chow Mein was good, and the Sesame Chicken was just as I thought it would be. Overall happy with this place.
We ordered delivery an it was amazing. Kung Pow Chicken was awesome. We are new to the area in St Vital looking for a good Chinese food restaurant in the area and we will definitely be repeat customers.
Chinese in South Winnipeg. Living in the South End of Winnipeg your restaurants for Chinese Food are very limited.. Today I decided to try a new restaurant..Placed my order for pickup. Food was ready when I arrived. The worker who I assume was the owner was very nice and polite. The food was good.. Really enjoyed the Breaded Veal. If your in the South End of WPG and looking for Chinese I recommend trying this restaurant out.
The lunch buffet is awesome. Amazing price, the downfall is parking and the dining area is not very adequate for how many people come during lunch. But if you’re looking for nice Chinese food for an amazing price, this could be the right place for you.
Good and Bad Experience.. So I went their to try their chow main it seemed interesting and I wanted to try it, it wasn’t what I expected, the needles were over cooked and to crunchy and it was greasy, so I asked to have something else, they didn’t seem to like that, cause two of them came to the table and acted like I should just suck it up and eat it anyway, took 3 minutes to convince them I didn’t want it and to take it away. also my friend ordered deluxe Wonton soup, and it was lukewarm when she got it.But I also had the fried shrimp, I’ve had them before with delivery and I love them, they are soooo good I could eat them for hours. I recommend the fried shrimp for sure.My friend also had a Spring roll and she said it was good.I thought I’d have a full good experience cause we get their take out a lot….well I am going to stick to their take out, never going back inside again.
Very Good Chinese Food in St. Vital. We have been ordering Chinese food from New China Kitchen for several years and find the food to be delicious and reasonably priced. Our favourite dishes are egg foo yung, breaded dried veal, pan fried shrimp and honey garlic chicken balls. Along with this, the staff and service are excellent! I highly recommend New China Kitchen!!
