Super overpriced for indian food. The taste is just okay, the prices on the menu are wrong. By bill should have been around $51 with taxes, and she charged me $90? Disappointed
Very good food and the portions are huge! I ordered the butter chicken here for lunch (delivered with skip the dishes) and it was very, very good! This dish, with a side of rice, lasted me three days of lunches. The samosas are also incredibly tasty! I look forward to exploring more items on the menu!
Awesome food!! The best Indian food i had in Canada! I have already been there twice in 2 months. I love their food and their service! The lady is really sweet and polite. I saw her offering free samosas to a skip the dishes courier guy. That was very sweet of her. The prices are higher than normal indian restaurants. But I would prefer to pay more for a good indian food than have bad awful food !! Keep it up Sizzling Dhaba! 🙂
I went here tonight with a friend who loves Indian food as much as I do. Very Impressed! We had the buffet and it was wonderful. Lots of spice and a little heat with options for more. Wide variety of food items served hot and fresh. Restaurant was clean and serving personal were attentive and pleasant. Music was right volume that you could talk and not have to speak loud or get distracted. We will be back for sure.
I ordered the paneer chole, fish and potatoes, and kebab. The first two items were delicious, no complaints about them. The kebab, was disappointing. I actually felt a little ripped off for the small container I received. For the price it seemed a little steep. When we tried it, it seemed as if it had been sitting out all day. It was not freshly made or prepared at all. I contact management and she seemed as though she had no regard for the quality of food coming out of the kitchen. I would have been happy to send the first one back for a new one, I didn’t want a refund at all; however, she only offered to give me a credit for kebabs the next time I dine at their location. She seemed annoyed throughout our entire phone conversation and very unhelpful. She didn’t come up with a solution to figure out how to honour the credit if I did come to the restaurant. I actually had to suggest to show my order if I do go. So, I’m going to support other Indian restaurants in the city that care about the quality of their food and their relationship with their customers. Had I had a better experience with the manager, I would have given a higher review score.
Food was so so, but not hot, but more so not happy with portions of takeaway and probably half a chicken breast total in the butter chicken, other stuff pbly grabbed from the buffet containers, would never go there again.
I’ve been to the buffet a few times and have enjoyed all of the dishes available. The staff are super friendly and bring you naan with the Sunday buffet which is a nice touch. Highly recommend the veggie korma! If you want spicy, don’t do the buffet as they try to keep it mild to appeal to the widest audience. Instead, order off the menu.
