Went there with friends and tried there awesome veggie platter . Where the put lentils , veggies on top of yeast tortilla . Taste was amazing with nice african songs playing . They had shisha also which made it even better
Edited : The quality is not what it used to be anymore, I miss the old Blue Nile, not sure what happened there maybe the staff in the kitchen has changed. I regularly have the blue Nile combo and the Quanta firfir, they are both delicious ! Must try ! The combo has multiple vegetarian and meat sauces, quanta firfir is also so tasty it will leave you wanting for more ! The texture of sun dried meat is mouth watering !!!
Awesome service and most welcoming!. They were awesome, very comforting for me since I felt out of place and nervous because I was there for my first time. Awesome music, friendly staff and people, and my friend loved the food (im not huge on anything but canadian menus lol) but I would definately recommend with a 5/5 rating.
Amazing food!. The food at Blue Nile is really delicious and I highly recommend it! So good!
Nothing beats the Nile.. The Blue Nile is hands down my favourite spot in Winnipeg. I go atleast 3 times a week. Wonderful service and couldn’t ask for a better group of staff. Highly recommend.
I have been twice now. The food is amazing. I highly recommend the platter split amongst a few friends. The atmosphere is super fun. The hookah is fantastic. Most of all, the staff are so nice!!! My friends and I will be back soon!
Simply the Best!!! You’ve Got to Got to Go!!!. It was soooo delicious!!! We want to come back again and again! I will certainly spread the word.Today we were first-timers. We had a wonderful experience, made even better by the owner’s warmth, personal attention, and great service. Everyone there was very pleasant and helpful. Thank you! ;-)The Blue Nile menu is varied, interesting, and certainly suitable for vegetarians and omnivores. I started with a Veggie Sambussa. It was very much like a samosa but with dark lentils. It was so delicious I bought four more to take home.We had The Blue Nile Combo for 1, and The Vegetarian Combo, so we could try a little bit of everything. The Blue Nile Combo contained a chicken dish, an egg, special cheese–like feta–in addition to the selections on the Vegetarian Combo: two kinds of lentils, chick peas, kale, beets, and a delicious cooked cabbage and potato salad, which turned out to be one of my favourites, although it was very hard to decide. (I’m sure I’m missing something.) Everything was combined with perfect palate pleasing spices providing an exciting and unique taste adventure. The exotic blend of spices was wonderful. They were perfectly, pleasantly warm, not hot; well suited to their ingredients. Everything was so tasty and quite filling! Two people could have easily shared each dish and been well satisfied. We tried the traditional way of eating, to pull off a piece of light and tasty soft bread, and use it to scoop up morsels of tasty dishes from the plate. That was fun, and made the meal feel like more of an adventure.Eating at The Blue Nile was a great experience. For something completely different, you’ve simply got to go there! We popped in to take a look at the hooka bar next door, and may give that a try next time. 😉
