Fantastic food, consistently fresh and interesting ingredients, very healthy menu. Great daily specials. Staff is all very kind and helpful, great coffee and great complex flavourful menu items makes this a regular spot for me.
Go For the Specials. Had breakfast here, service was awesome. The regular breakfast menu is…. pretty standard, but the specials we all ended up ordering that change weekly were stellar. I don’t think I would visit this place if I just looked at the standard menu they have, but it is totally worth a go, if you know they have rotating specials that are much more interesting and yummy than the standard menu. We’ll be back soon, maybe to try the lunch or dinner menu. Another thing to love about this place it the support of local ingredients and products they use in their cooking. This place tries to be about as local as possible about what they use in their cooking. So give them a try and support local business, local people, local jobs.Much Love The ChubbyDumpling
This restaurant did not fulfill my expectations… which were already not very high, based on reviews I read before going. The server was incredibly slow, the menu felt like what would be offered in a dorm room, and tasted the same.I will tell everyone I know not to go to this restaurant
I’m a student at the U of W. I love that this place is on campus. Food is great, service is friendly prices are cheap. Take-out can be hit or miss. They don’t make enough sandwiches to match the demand, so sometimes I have to wait for food (has made me late for class more than once ), but the taste makes it worth the wait.
Always super fresh and delicious. Far better than Stellas in my opinion.
Great sentiment but not so great food…. Love the sentiment of local and sustainably sourced food and appreciated the Ocean Wise endorsement. However, I didn’t find the food here to be well executed. No one in our party enjoyed their dish; all of us sampled each other’s plates and the food was either very bland or had odd flavours… We came in with an appetite and left hungry!
Over priced.. With the exception of a few dishes here, I find the food to be similar in taste with the stuff at the main campus cafeteria at the UW. Bland. Boring. I understand it’s owned by the same catering company or whatever. I just wish their high prices stayed at this restaurant instead of leaking over to the main campus cafeteria. The food here was mediocre, I was honestly expecting more. I wanted to like it because the concepts are good, and it’s always nice to eat locally and eat ethically but I could not get behind the fact I am paying extra for eating UW cafeteria food (bland, bland, BLAND) while someone serves it to me. Best of luck to the people at Elements anyways.
