Worst catered lunch ever. 40 minutes late (big issue when it is a lunch break)- the hot food was cold, the Caesar and the Greek salads were tasteless, the lemon potatoes were cold and greasy and had almost no lemony taste. The chicken souvlski was dried out and tough. NO TZATZIKI SAUCE SUPPLIED!!! Will NEVER deal with them again for any event!

Nice decent Greek food but nothing to rave about at reasonable price. Their chicken souvlaki dinner was good and just the right serving amount which I liked. What I love the most is their fresh warm bread made from scratch. Overall, nice experience. Fast friendly service.

Winnipeg has many Greek restaurants, but unfortunately this falls among the many mediocre places. The food is decent – I enjoyed my meal – but it was unremarkable, and for the price, unjustified. Head somewhere else if you want really great Greek food.

I had heard a lot of hype about their food, but we were severely disappointed. The Calamari, while being a large portion was incredibly bland, the serving of lemon potatoes was 4 pitifully small slices. The chicken Slovakia was bland, and whatever sauce they put on the rice was terrible. The Greek salad was not a traditional Greek salad either, was rather small and mostly made of shredded lettuce. The potato lemon soup was pretty good, and the Gyro was okay- pretty much just tasted like tzatziki which is pretty hard to screw up. Don’t think I’ll be eating there again- Santa Lucia had far bigger, more flavourful portions for about the same price.

Their food is amazing. Just everything about this place is wonderful including the service and the ambiance. As soon as you walk in someone immediately acknowledges you and seats you. The servers are all attentive to your requests and are well informed of the food.Food is fantastic, highly recommend!

SwizzleStyx. Our group dines here quite regularly and it is always a favourite spot. The food is excellent and the service has always been great. The atmosphere is lovely and the patio on a nice day is beautiful! We regularly have the calamari and it is among the best in the city. All of the salads are great, although my favourite is the Homer’s salad, it is outstanding. We have never been disappointed or unsatisfied here, I highly recommend it! August 2016 – Another excellent lunch at Homer’s, we sat on the patio and it was beautiful with grape vines growing over head and loads of fresh tomatoes on the vine. We dined on chicken souvlaki, their delicious lentil soup, caesar salad and traditional Greek salad with calamari, everything was good.

What happened?!. Oh Homers. How I loved you. For years, this was one of my favourite restaurants and after not having been for about a year, I ordered a large order for a catering for a board meeting for 20 people—people who I’d professed my love of Homer’s food to. When it arrived, it was nothing even remotely close to what it used to be. The chicken souvlaki was scrawny, dry, flavourless and had an odd orange hue. None of the side dishes were even close to being as tasty as they once were. Salads were meager & the rice and potatoes were bland and undercooked. Certainly not what i was expecting and I was embarrassed to have served this to a large group of people. Obviously, delivered food is never as great as fresh but really, it was so different from anything I’ve ever been served from Homers. Too bad.
