I haven’t ordered here in ages. I called to order a Large 2 topping pizza, I was told there was a $20.00 min plus 5 dollars delivery. The woman who answered was rude and impatient on the phone. She didn’t recognized my street which was less than 1.5 kms away or 5 mins by car. Handed the phone to a man who said I would have to buy something else like soft drinks. No thanks. Oh well, guess they don’t need the business.
Service? What service.. Ordered a pizza, hit the table on time. My water was almost empty. Waiter possibly owner did not ask if I needed anything else. He was back and forth to the back room where the washrooms are to watch CNN. I had my fill, covered my plate with the napkin, pushed my empty glass to the edge in hopes of a refill, I moved the leftover pizza to the side in hopes it would get boxed up.Only 3 other tables seated another left dirty. He came towards my table (finally it had been about 20 min since i finished), but he made a B-line to the dirty table, cleaned off the dishes and never returned. I finally got up another 10 minutes later to pay and told him to box up my leftovers.Almost 30 min where nobody was asked how was the food or anything. CNN must have been more important than his customers. Pizza was good but not worth the crappy service. Not going back.
I like it..but. This restaurant makes one of the best Chicken Roti in Winnipeg. The Roti is hardly ever dry. I have ordered it with Greek Salad & got Ceaser Salad 2. Both times I didn’t realize the mistake until after I got home. When I mentioned it, I didn’t even get an apology. I even asked about ordering just the Roti without the salad. I was told I could do that, but they will be charging me the same cost with or without the salad
Greek food, with a caribean/vietnamese/chinese background.. For many many many years. We go back from time to time.We have seen the transition from Greek owners, to Vietnamese owners, to the current owners.Excellent Value.Excellent Service.Really good food.Quite decent considering the long line of ethnic owners who seem to be ableto stick to the tried and true foods.Really can’t go wrong for the price.
Excellent Pizza and very friendly staff. My family and friends have been ordering pizza from Juliana’s for years and have always enjoyed the pizza. The ingredients are of quality and the staff are sociable and pleasant. Give it a try!
Juliana’s PIzza – Where the customer is King?. Juliana’s proclaims to treat their customers as Kings as they proudly display on their menus but I found out the hard way that it isn’t so. I picked up my take out order and brought it home only to find out that my meal had been switched accidentally with someone else. At normal restaurants this isn’t a big deal, you just call them back, tell them want happened and they apologize and replace the meal. Not at Juliana’s! At Juliana’s the owner will chastize you for not knowing what you ordered, will offer to make you a new meal but then he doesn’t tell you that he’s going to charge you for it only after you’ve gone all the way back to the restaurant! He seems to think this is fair and that it is OK to talk down to his customers. I think otherwise and will not be going back.
