I’m not a regular customer of this restaurant, but I do come here quite often to eat the Pho with my parents. Food is usually really good. I usually don’t mind the servers either, but there was one today who gave my mom and I attitude. She spoke English, despite that we knew she spoke Vietnamese and my mom even spoke it back to her. She also told my mom that they didn’t have the dipping sauce dishes for us to put our Hoisin and Sriracha mix in, even though we knew that they do have them. The other waitress proved her wrong by coming out to give us said dishes. The first waitress just spent time picking at her nails and not really caring about her job. I didn’t appreciate her service, and we ended up paying without tipping her. I found the first waitress to be really lazy and not attentive to her customers.
This is one of my standard go to Vietnamese places if I’m in the Ellice/Sherbrook area. I have never once been disappointed coming here. You can always count on their soups to be flavorful and generously portioned. Their menu items are also of great value as well especially when compared to some of the Vietnamese places in the south end of town. Lastly, the service is lightning quick. It is almost unreal how fast they can prepare a bowl of soup for you once the order is in.The only thing you have to get over is the restaurant decor is really dated and could be cleaner. Also, the parking is a real pain.
