Ive wanted to visit PBM for a while but Ive been extremely loyal to select Vietnamese restaurants. I ordered my usual – large rare beef pho and pork/shrimp salad rolls. Verdict. Pho: I was given such tiny pieces of meat and a huge portion of noodles. Not impressed. As for their broth, it had excess notes of cinnamon or star anise which I didnt quite enjoy. Salad rolls: Made fresh and noodles were soft but fell apart very easily. Again, not a lot of meat. And the peanut sauce that is paired with it was basically just peanut butter with crushed peanuts. Seemed like it was missing hoisin sauce. As for service, it was meh. The waitresses were absent and filled my water once when I had been seated. All in all, I most likely will not return and will stick to my favourite Vietnamese restaurants.

Since new owners it’s definitely not the same service. I don’t like the new girls working there, they lack customer service skills. The one girl gave me such a look everytime I asked for something. Like as through it was NOT her JOB to serve me! The last family that owned the place was far more personable! Food is still good but not same.

Stopped here for lunch and had the #22 pho… sate with beef. Broth had just the right amount of spice (for me) and came with fresh sprouts, Thai basil, and extra fresh chilis if we wanted. I ordered a small as I figured it would be plenty and it was. I really enjoyed it and am interested in coming back to try more. The menu was really extensive, lots of room in the restaurant and service was fast and friendly. I would recommend this place if you are in the area… I suspect you won’t be disappointed, but then again we are all different, so decide for yourself and try out pho bing minh!!!

I came here for pho with a group a friends recently. I thought the service was good, the prices and portions were average, however the food quality was great. By far some of the most toppings and best flavored pho I have had recently. This is my top pick of pho places that I have gone to recently.

I have only been here a handful of times, but I have never been disappointed, and definitely will be back. The ph is wonderful here, served with a generous portion of bean sprouts and Thai basil (which are a must for me!). They also include a wedge of lime and a red chilli.Staff are courteous and quick, and are able to answer questions about the food (I have allergies, and therefore must be careful).

The wife and I didn’t feel like cooking after sleeping in for staying out late at a New Years party. I was nursing a pretty serious hangover and was also super hungry. We thought for a while and decided Vietnamese would an awesome way to cure the munchies!Turns out, not only is Pho Binh Minh open 7-days a week, they were open New Year’s Day as well! Restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived, but the waitress seated us very promptly and took our drink orders right away. This place has one of the most extensive menus I’ve ever seen at a Vietnamese restaurant. I got the Bun Bo Hue and it was perfectly seasoned and came piping hot. It surprisingly isn’t as spicy as some other restaurants I’ve had it at. For Bun Bo Hue, that is actually a good thing. There are so many flavours going on, the spicyness is really just one component and Pho Binh Minh balances it quite well. They also provided shredded green cabbage, shredded purple cabbage, banana blossom, bean sprouts, Thai chilies, Thai basil, and lime wedges for garnish. This is the most extensive plate of garnish I have ever seen offered at any Vietnamese restaurant. The deluxe vermicelli that my wife ordered also looked very impressive! The restaurant is well laid out and appears clean. We will definitely be back!
