This place I’ve been wanting to try for awhile as heard really positive feedback. Finally checked it out a few days ago. REALLY GOOD! Super fresh and flavorful. Prices are reasonable and our food was prepared quickly. We tried a couple of different items and my favorite was the chicken quesadillas. I will definitely be going back and supporting this neighborhood gem!
The best Mexican in town. No question. Try the Lengua (beef tongue) – it is not on the menu – tender and flavorful. Make sure you try the 3 sauces – Jalapeno, Habanero and ????. You can buy to take home too – truly amazing on rice or nachos at home!

tried this place last night on the recommendation of a pal. The tacos were legit af and delicious, tried like 6 kinds and pigged out. Carlos was super inviting and helpful, and the tacos were fresh, and filling and really unique. Going back today for lunch cuz i can’t stop thinking about them! I had the Pastor (with fresh pineapple), chicken mushroom, Beef with fried cheese, huitaloche, and some others they were all so good i can’t rave enough. drooling now just thinking about them.
I am very happy that this place was recommended to me, these are the closest thing to authentic tacos that I’ve had in Winnipeg. Great taste and the owner is very friendly.
Felt like I was in Mexico eating tacos!! Definitely my new favourite taco shop in the city. But get there before the supper rush or therell be a line up!
