I really like their donair it tastes more like donairs on the east coast and calgary but unfortunately there arent a lot of toppings to choose from and there is very little meat per wrap. Its too bad because I would go there more often if they filled it up with more stuff.
Pretty disappointing. We ordered from skip the dishes for a work lunch. I ordered chicken shawarma platter that comes with rice, salad, pita, tahini and garlic sauce. My friend ordered chicken shawarma with saj bread with fries and drink. I don’t know what happened to this place and skip the dishes took over an hour and a half which was ridiculous for a work lunch. The food came cold. Forgot the drink. The food was totally different than what it used to be. Salad was not the traditional anymore with parsley. Rice was a curry rice instead of the green cardamom rice which was to die for. Chicken didnt have that flavor of sumac and was dry. Saj bread was a flour tortilla and my pita bread was rock hard.@ Very disappointed as this was my go to place for middle eastern food. Consistency and quality has been lost. So sad…..
Quite delicious! I really like this place. The meat, toppings and pitas always seem really fresh. The decor is basic but comfortable.The staff’s English is pretty limited, so ordering on Skip the Dishes is a good way to make sure you get exactly what you want.
