I had the Meatball and Lemongrass Beef Banh Mi. Both were great, the star was the bun. Baked fresh everyday from what I heard. I would say this is probably one of the top viet subs I’ve had in Winnipeg. Price is reasonable at $5 per sub with taxed included. I totally would eat these over a burger any day. Place is small and cozy. I will be back! 🙂
Very good subs. They have a combo for $8.48 you get a sub and large bubble tea. I had the milk tea with meatball sub. Had very good flavor and the right amount of veggie ratio. They also make their own breads. I was pretty impressed with the size of the sandwich as it was a fair size when some places are a lot smaller. Overall, friendly, fresh, and delicious. I would come back.
Their Banh Mi Thit Nguoi (Cold Cuts sandwich) and Rainbow drink (Milk tea with banh flan, grass jelly, tapioca pearls, red bean, green jelly) are to die for! Also tried their Banh Trang Tron and it’s nice experience as the owner told me it’s a really popular street food in Vietnam. The owners are so friendly and provide great service. When I’m craving for Banh Mi and Bubble/Milk Tea, this would be my no.1 place to go.
Updated: Dec 2016This place has changed since the new owners which is a shame. I used to like this place, now not so much anymore. —Sept 2015Just a nice little place close to the UofW. Their bubble teas are great, but what is equally as awesome is that they also now have a variety of banh mi choices. Their bread is baked in-house so you can guarantee they are served fresh. A great place to try out if you’re in the area.
Sushi was delicious and the service was awesome, super nice people!
Awesome staff. Reasonable prices! Conveniently located near the University. Super nice/welcoming staff! =)
Freshly made. I like recently added street food menu … Banh trang Tron is so tasty with so many tast in it. Tast for everyone in it
