Burnt. Went there with 11 people for a work lunch. Got a fat boy combo, with fries gravy and a can of coke. Burger came and took one bite, smelled burnt and tasted burnt. Another person at the table also had the same problem. I gave mine back and just ate fries and a drink. Time to pay. The lady insisted I pay $11. I said for what, fries and a coke. Then she got her toothless and bra less manager or whomever it was to come over. She knocked 2 bucks off. So $9 for fries gravy and a can of coke. 4 other complaints of people’s food being not that good either. It used to be so good there, we always went there for a work lunch. Wonder what happened. But now they just 11 customers. Hope hiring bad staff is worth the loss of profits.
SwizzleStyx. I have been coming to Johnny’s for as long as I can remember and I have never been disappointed, except for the days when Johnny himself isn’t around with his big, friendly smile! Had lunch here yesterday with a friend and it was excellent. You really can’t beat the prices here, especially considering the portion sizes and the quality of food. The home made soups are always excellent and the salads are all great. For sure one of the best clubhouses in town, home made fries, awesome pizzas and sandwiches, this place is terrific!Nov 2018 had pizza here today and was outstanding!!! Lots of toppings, all fresh and service so awesome and friendly!!
Outstanding Pizza!. Went for the first time today and had the lunch special for 9.95. It included beef noodle soup, which was decent, and a delicious Greek salad which mysteriously lacked black olives. The real star though was the mini Hawaiian pizza. Aprehensive at first when I saw how thick the crust was, it ended up being light, flaky, and wonderful. My friend had the senior’s breakfast which was massive and looked good too. I will be back for sure!
Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza, Greek Salad and Onion Soup. My sister took me here. I was leery but she said tons of doctors from the hospital go there and it’s great. Had the lunch special as did my sister and mom. It was delicious. Great service. Will definitely be back.
Catered our 25th Anniversary Party. FANTASTIC!!!. We had 65 people over for our anniversary party and my husband suggested we order from Johnny’s, as he takes clients there for lunch often. He did not disappoint. Portions were MORE than generous. Ordered chicken souvlaki, Greek salad, roasted vegetables, lasagna, rice, and his famous tsatziki and pitas. So much food and so delicious! People were asking me all night long where we ordered from. I would also like to add that dealing with Johnny was a pleasure. I never met him in person, only talked to home on the phone about our party, but he was a sweetie. The lasagna was my favourite. I highly recommend it!
This place has gone way down hill!. Went for lunch on saturday and is wasnt busy at all…looked at the menu only to discover that the prices have gone way up…for a sandwich and fries its over 15$….So I said forget about that and ordered a burger and fries…They used to have fresh cut fries and a awesome burger but what I got was dissapointing…the fries are frozen and the burger was very dry and tasteless…the waitresses were talking to each other across the restaurant and it was very annoying….I will not be back ever again….pus the place hasent been renovated since the 80,s……..very poor effort,,,
Excellent!. The breakfast portion was huge and cooked beautifully. We also got the Gyros with greek salad. The Greek Salad was a little over kill with the onions but it was tasty nonetheless. The Gyros was very tasty. The owner is a very nice guy and there is a very homey diner atmosphere about the place, We will definitely be going back!
