I’ve been to a few Boston Pizzas in winnipeg and the one here in Brandon is definitely a let down. We ordered calamari to start, it was greasy and the portion was small. Also they added banana peppers to it so you actually get less calamari. We had lasagna and the Boston royal pizza for our mains. The sauce on the lasagna was bland and nothing special. It also had very little meat in it. The pizza was okay, I would like the shrimps to be a little more cooked. All and all, it was not a pleasant experience and the meal was definitely not worth $80.

I recently drove from Thunder Bay ON to Brandon MB at the end of June 2015 and my wife and I were both very hungry after a long day of travelling in the car. We decided to go to Boston Pizza as we are familiar with their food and had a hankering for it. We have also eaten at many Boston Pizza’s in Western Canada and the Ottawa area but some are better then others it seems, It was a Sunday evening when we arrived and we were quickly seated as the restaurant seemed about half full. Then we began to wait and wait and wait and wait..After about 20 minutes nobody even asked if we would like a glass of water ! I saw three different waitresses look at us and but still nobody came by our table. It was like we were forgotten as everybody else in the restaurant was eating and the waitresses would ask the other customers if they needed anything which they didn’t. We were starved so my wife asked if she could speak with a manager but was advised she was not available and the staff were quite rude dealing with our complaint. We left the restaurant at that point and my wife sent an email to the Boston Pizza corporate web site as to our bad experience. To this day nobody has responded at all even though phone numbers and email address were given to them. I grew up in Edmonton and have eaten at Boston Pizza for over 40 years but I will shop around now for other options. I travel by weekly for business and cover BC to Manitoba so I eat a lot of restaurant food and Boston Pizza has now lost a very good loyal customer.
Stays busy on their name alone. Tried multiple times and almost every time there was a problem. Out of garlic toast, cold veggies, cold potatoes, burnt chicken… List goes on. Kept going back to use the discount they gave because of previous error and still more problems.
Been to Brandon many times in the past 10 years. Gone Boston Pizza quite a bit. But these last couple times sucked. Service was horrible and food was cold. When in Brandon I won’t be going to BP ever again.
UP – Standard BP quality so that’s good. Nice to see they still serve Richard White at this location. All the other beers are pretty weak.DOWN – Not a knock against this place, just getting tired of how expensive BP is in general.OUT – Lots of parking, good location and consistent food. BP’s good once and a while!
