Its hard to review this place for food since there is very little available except for desserts, which come from nearby Tall Grass Prairie Bakery. They have a decent selection of drink options besides the standard cafe fare. I think what this cafe excels at is a nice ambiance to sit and catch up with a friend over a hot beverage. Its a smallish space, which was surprisingly busy on a weekday afternoon. The walls are lined with books and some board games for sale. Considering its Wolseley, the one thing I was disappointed in was the fact that all drinks were served in take out cups. I just assumed my drink would come in a regular mug, but when I got my take out cup and looked around the room, not one person had a reusable cup.
My girlfriend brought me here last night and it was a good experience overall. I got their pistachio slice which was a good, creamy dessert and matched perfectly with the Japanese Green Tea. Their teas were served using BREWT tea infusers which was convenient. The place was comfortable as well, it has this homey vibe to it that is perfect for those who are looking for a place to think, read, and write. They also have a second hand bookstore which had a neat selection of book, and a great collection of board games as well for you’re into that stuff. Overall, a good hidden gem in Wolseley.
Fun and different. Went on a Thursday evening and live music was playing. Was crowded but in a fun way. Many kinds of tea – it was hard to choose. My husband loved his dessert (Oreo cheesecake) and the drinks were good but what made this place stand out was the music and the ambiance.
Great Tea – Little Else!. Very nice pot of tea. The pastries are expensive and sugary. Also, if you like privacy this is not the place. Had at least two individuals bump our table while scrounging for books – which are right next to the tables on the wall. A poor experience.
