I’m no Pho expert, but I have enjoyed take out and eat in meals here several times! The pho was delicious with generous helpings. If you plan to dine there there only about 4 tables plus some street view seats.

I ordered the Deluxe Vermicelli and it did not have anything except the BBQ pork. It was missing the sugar cane shrimp and everything else. It’s like they were about to close and decided to just make whatever they had left. The order also took longer than most places and the Skip was waiting there for 10 min for the food to be ready. The portion was half of what you would normaly get from other places and when I complained they said they gave me everything but my meal only had 1 meatball the size of a dime and some BBQ pork no sugar cane shrimp. You shouldn’t call it deluxe Vermicelli when it had next to nothing and have half the size. Will never order anything from here again, there are better alternatives blocks away.If you read a couple reviews below this, other people have experienced the same thing, wish I had read this before ordering from this place. Please don’t make my mistake and don’t order from here.

Terrible. You know how some food is fancy and ‘chef-y’ and some food is simple and ‘home-y’ and some food comes sprinkled with frozen pea-carrot-corn mix? This was the latter. And absolutely soaked in oil. Awful. Never again.

Wonderful food. I’ve been there three times and each time the food has been consistently wonderful. Very pleasant staff well. I’ve tried the Pho special and the vermicelli dishes. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely return.

After reading a positive review in the local Metro paper we decided to try Tam’s. Very clean little joint with an open kitchen, friendly service and food was served within 5-7 min. The Deluxe Pho was more than enough at 8$ quite tasty but on the mild side. Salad rolls were almost twice the size also fresh and flavourful with a mild peanut sauce. No complaints here, wish them luck.

I ordered two Deluxe Vermicelli and a Banh Mi to go. The Vermicelli was appalling! It was just noodles, no mint, basil, peanuts, bean sprouts or lettuce, and just one Spring Roll. There was hardly any meat. The Banh Mi was just as pathetic, hardly any meat, little vegetables and worst of all, the baguette was so dry, it was falling apart when tried to eat it.When I went back to talk about the dishes, the woman told me that I have to ask for the basil, mint, peanuts, the lettuce and carrots to be included for the Vermicelli. Are you kidding me????? I have had this Vermicelli for years in different cities and all over Winnipeg and I have never heard of such a thing. People are not stupid!! Worst Vietnamese food I ever had. Don’t waste your time or your money. Portion sizes are ridiculously small!

Worst vermicelli ive had in all of Winnipeg. And that’s saying something because I’ve eaten at 98% of Veitnamese restaurants in this city. I had #35 the spring roll vermicelli: A) the portion size was about 1/2 what ud usually get but at the same ~$6-9 price. B) there were no bean sprouts. C) the sauce was completely flavourless (an amazing feat since veitnamese & thai food are notoriously very complex & rich in flavour). D) the lettuce was limp & not shredded properly & also very lacking. E) the meal was overall OILY. Yes, oily. My lips were slick as if i just ate noodles covered in olive oil. Absolutely will not be back. I cant believe it’s even possible to screw up vermicelli. Very disappointed.
