Went numerous times and have always found the food to be good. Service is great, including atmosphere. A very simple mom & pop restaurant, but that makes it all the better. Honestly I didn’t expect much from looking at the exterior of the building but it’s proof that you can’t always judge a book by its cover.
We regularly attend here, we’re here about once a month. Today, we had the bacon & eggs and the ham & cheese omelet. Both were excellent. The food is simple but always prepared correctly. Don’t expect fancy garnishes or any thing out of the ordinary. As this is a husband and wife owned restaurant who can each cook, the meals are consistently excellent. The restaurant is neatly decorated with a small town, north end atmosphere. The prices are great! This is one of the mom & pop gem restaurants that we have in Winnipeg’s north end.
