I can’t believe I have never been to this vegetarian restaurant as I’ve biked past it a million times and always wondered if it was any good. The last vegetarian food place I tried had almost all dishes with tofu but this place uses a mixture of mysterious vegetable fake meats that are incredible! I got the veggie steaks combo plate which had the perfect mixture of foods (spring roll, soup, main dish with rice, jelly desert). At first I thought the portions were to small but they were just right! I will definitely come back as the service was exceptional as well.

I’d like to start by saying that I am not a vegetarian, but even I found the food to be excellent! However, the experience was soured by the absolutely terrible service.A group of us (~10 of us) went there for my niece’s birthday. We ordered our dishes promptly… but we certainly didn’t receive our food that way!We were lucky to get one plate of food every 15 minutes! In the meantime other customers in smaller groups came in, were served, finished their meals and left before we had even received half of our dishes! Most of which consisted of rice and noodles, which don’t take long to make. There were long periods of time where there was no food on the table. Any person coming in who glanced over at our table would have thought we had already finished our meal based on the number of empty plates!I have never received such poor service in all my life! Myself and my husband are pretty laid back people who have both worked in food service, and so we are understanding of the challenges that can occur in the industry, but in this case there was absolutely no excuse for the abysmal service we received! We even tried to ask for more food, and they didn’t seem to want to do business with us! They basically ignored us! They never even asked us if we wanted any beverages! Not even tea! It was like they didn’t even care about doing any business…Part of the reason I am so angry about it is the fact that, as we sat at the table and started receiving our dishes super slowly, I really came to enjoy the food and was looking forward to the meal ahead! The crispy black mushrooms were excellent and I was even planning to ask for an order of them to go, but at that rate I probably would have had to wait 45 minutes to get them…We didn’t even receive all the dishes we ordered! In short, it is a real shame a place that has such good meals totally fails in the serving of them….

We have been here many times for the buffet. Lots of options and have never had anything not tasty. The variety changes frequently with some staples. Love the chow mien, king pao gluten, tofu with satay sauce , eggplant in black bean sauce and soy slice with lotus roots to name a few. The sushi on the buffet is pretty good. Sometimes they run short on good items too quickly. It is rather expensive and you pay by weight but worth the cost for the best vegan buffet in Winnipeg. You can also weigh a styrofoam to go. Great if you are working in the area and don’t have time to dine in.

Exceptional. Staying at the Delta Hotel, so this find is one block away. Read the reviews, and got the steamed dumplings and spicy eggplant with a small rice to go. Loads of delicious food. The dumplings were tender light and flavorful, and wonderfully textured with a standard but good dipping sauce. The spicy eggplant (done medium) featured big chunks of tender creamy eggplant in a spicy thin sauce- yumm-O! On my bed of rice, could only eat half and saved the other half for breakfast. Honestly, had food for two this the 6 big dumplings and the generous eggplant dish– all for < CAD 20. Eat here! Nice clean little family restaurant.

I LOVE this restaurant. I don’t live in Winnipeg, but try to get here every time I visit. I started loving it as a vegetarian, but am a meat eater now and still love this place. I introduced my meat-eater husband to it and he loves it too. The black crispy mushrooms are absolutely amazing (and I hate mushrooms).

Another good vegetarian place to visit in pegcity , its a chinese vegetarian place with good food. They give student discount and also if you member of vegetarian club. Alot of variety in foods.

This restaurant is truly unique by having a very large selection of vegan and vegetarian menu items that are very delicious and affordable. Been there twice and ordered extra on purpose for leftovers. Friendly staff. Food is served hot (temperature wise) straight out of the kitchen. Unique menu items that I did not think were possible. No complaints and lots of praise. Have gone for only supper off menu and not lunch buffet.
