First time here last night . Decided to check it out after hearing about it from a few friends, desserts are okay not sure what the hype is about though . We tried the salted caramel chocolate cake (Slayer cake) and I had the chocolate banana pie which was nice and light . But again this place didnt have the wow factor for me .
Always went here to enjoy some desserts but the most recent trip to this restaurant we were treated like garbage. To utensils being thrown across the table to us instead of being handed to, racially profiled, asked for boxes and received paper bags, went and asked again for boxes to receive a box off a table that another customer had left behind, dirty, and broken. When we questioned one of the strawberries looking moldy to the waitress she said it looked like blueberry yet when i tried to scrape it off it wouldn’t budge. Then the staff proceeded to laugh and talk about us as if we weren’t standing right in front of them. Honestly feel so threatened about it. Do not understand how a local company can treat their customers like that. I typically do not care much about customer service but the service I experienced today was ridiculously. I was also blocked on their instagram account for leaving a comment about my experience.The women that was serving us was completely rude for no apparent reason. Basically paid to be treated poorly. When I explained the situation to the person at the till they did nothing, not even apologize for this waitresses actions. Goes to show how well this company treats their customers.

Parking is always annoying to try to find and we got lucky as it filled up very fast with tables. Our server was fantastic, pleasant and attentive, we never had to ask for a coffee or tea refill. I had the classic chocolate cake which I’ve always ordered when I go. It’s not too sweet and a fresh banana filling that I just love. My friend had the carrot cake and I tried a bit of hers, wow was that ever good! Definitely choosing that the next time I go! Highly recommend both cakes.
