So amazing! I don’t eat meat and heart the seasoned tofu burrito so much. I love that you can mix everything just the way you want it. Staff is awesome and so accommodating. I love the glass bottle Mexican Jarrito sodas + chips + salsa/guac. I personally prefer this place to Burrito Del Rio. True love
Eh not the burrito franchise for me. The food counter was really small and didn’t have a lot of options (one type of rice, one type of Queso, for example). Also there was barely any lighting at the food counter, I had to bend over to get a good look, which I regret because the mild salsa looked old and not fresh. Guacamole and Queso are extra $ which made me sad. My partner and I got regular and large chicken burritos both with guacamole and chips + queso on the side (the queso is no Bueno FYI). Our bill came up to $32 which also makes me sad because I didn’t quite enjoy my meal. If you are craving a burrito and would like to be able to see the food and have a ton of options without paying extra, go to Qdoba.
Great food at a decent price. It’s always a go to when there’s no time to cook dinner. Pork burrito is my fav by far and the tacos are also really good.
I like this place. The times I’ve gone have only been for take out. My hubby and I ordered two burritos after fishing all day. He ordered the pork carnitas burrito and I tried the beef burrito. You can choose between two different sizes burritos (regular or large), and choose your fillings (ie: black beans and bacon or refried beans, rice, slaw mix or lettuce, cheddar or queso fresco, salsas, sour cream, hot peppers and I’m sure I’m missing some). I also like that you can choose between whole wheat or white tortilla. The staff are helpful and pleasant to deal with. Overall our visit was great. My only complaint is because the ingredients are being layered, not mixed slightly, once it’s all wrapped up the layers stay in their spot so as you eat it on one side its full of meat, and the other side veg. Before throwing it on the grill or press I think it wouldn’t be so bad to mix up the meat,veg,beans,rice etc on the tortilla so you get a bite of everything. When this Burrito Splendido restaurant first opened, we were one of their earliest customers and the food tasted great; however, we recently visited again and was deeply disappointed because the food was cold, disgusting, and the value of the entree was very low. They were very stingy with their ingredients even after having asked for some extra items (they charge extra for them). They acted as if giving extra cilantro in the burrito was going to mean that their kids weren’t going to eat that night. It’s especially insulting that they used a scale to weigh the meat before plopping the rest of the ingredients on top of it. Also, they didn’t use any care as to how they assembled it. Finally, skip the queso dip – it’s lumpy, disgusting, and looks like someone lost their lunch in a small bowl. Go to Qdoba instead. They’re not nearly as careless and stingy! Foodie beware!
Great burritos. Love the way they’re made and then toasted, can’t get anything else like it! It’s a 10 min drive from my place, but worth it when I’m feeling some Mexican food! Won’t go anywhere else!
Doesn’t sound so popular , but there burritos are non beatable. Use special spread which makes it amazing. Growing in pegcity now , must go go go for this. Was pretty far from me so had been few times only but worth the travel time .
