Always satisfied when I go here! Their drinks always gets me full and they are very flavourful. Pictured in my review is the chocolate mousse and the passion fruit tea. The chocolate mousse was delicious and my favourite part was the mousse! The passion fruit was very sour, but still really good and quenches your thirst.
The quality of ingredients is good but is not consistent of the mixture, they sometimes give less than what is asked for. It would be nice if she’s more generous and friendly.
So happy to have discovered this place. Heard of it before when I was still in PH but never got a chance to try it until I got to Winnipeg. My favourite is the original pearl milk tea. The pearl has the perfect texture compared to other bubble milk tea place. I also love their pudding.
love their roasted milk tea and bubbles! best place to grab a milk tea in Winnipeg. taro milk tea is good –they use real taro. the strawberry au lait is also amazing! love the sweet and chewiness ’cause they put coconut jelly in it. awesome!!!
I love the variety of flavours at this place! I’ve been quite a few times in the city and Toronto. I love the taro milk tea because they use real taro as opposed to powdered! The banana milk tea (add pudding) is also a star. However, the roasted milk tea with grass jelly isn’t the best. The colour of tea is quite light for it being roasted and it’s not quite as flavourful as other locations. My suggestion for them is to perfect the roasted milk tea, then this place with be up to par to other locations.
I always go here for bubble/milk tea now. Service is fast and there’s a lot of selections to choose from. I usually get their Pudding Milk Tea with bubbles. Bubbles are cooked perfectly, love the chewiness! <3
I have come here for bubble tea several times now. The bubbles are well made and they source a pretty decent jelly for their drinks. I have come for their bogo deal when they first opened and have also taken advantage of their free upsize promotion that has recently been going on.I have tried their mango green tea, Chatime milk tea, and their Tieguanyen Tea Latte. Their teas are pretty fragrant and the latte is pretty neat looking in that the tea is poured slowly over the milk so it looks layered (not completely sure but I think pouring it in this order is actually a macchiato and not a latte – also, there isn’t actually any coffee in this drink). What I like is that you can specify your level of sweetness, what I don’t like is that there doesn’t appear to be consistency in the sweetness levels across drinks. A mango green tea at half sweet is sweeter than a tieguanyin tea latte at half sweet. Also, they are definitely still working out some kinks. The wait time for a drink here is excessive. When my wife and I came here on Saturday, we waited almost 30 minutes for our drinks! I’m sure with time this will improve though. Not really sure what to say about this place. There’s no shortage of competition in the area, the prices definitely aren’t better and neither is the service. Their product isn’t really any better either. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, just no better than anyone else’s. Also, unlike some other places nearby which offer snacks, Chatime only serves beverages. Lastly, they don’t open late on Fridays and Saturdays.
