It was my second time giving this boba tea place a chance. The first time was about a year ago. From what I remembered, the drink was overly sweet and lacked certain flavours I liked (almond milk tea, black sesame). Anyways the second visit was better, but not the best. I always order my drink half sweetened or barely sweetened (bubble tea places are known to douse it with sugar which completely ruins the drink). I think I ordered the coconut milk tea this time around and asked for 1/4 sugar (or whatever the lowest sugar offering they had). It was good, and refreshing but the thing I did not like was when I asked to split a large mango slush into two small cups for my 2 little girls. They refused. They always do upon request at the neighbouring Panda Tea. Overall. The drink was fine. But Chatime is definitely not my go-to for bubble tea.
One of my favorite boba places here in Winnipeg! Their drinks are delicious and smells really good tbh. One of my favorite drinks to get here is definitely their thaimilk tea + pearl milk tea. I have also tried their pudding milk tea, taro slush, and hazelnut milk tea and they were also delicious.
