Pretty impressive. I really like this place. Great food. Fantastic location. Service is always good. Love their castle burger Also really good fish n chips Will definitely be back
Ambiance is great. Food, service and server are amazing. Ordered greek ribs, chicken wings and double standard burger – all are great and cheap. Unplanned dinner because the manyfest was too crowded. The room temp was a bit warm for us though, but will definitely come back.
Checked out Elephant&Castle before StarsOnIce show @MTS Centre. Was super impressed by tasty food & warm decor. Been a few years since I’d been here but seems to me they’ve renovated. Menu is good variety of pub food. I had Deluxe Burger w/Guiness BBQ sauce (was delicious)….and the best Sweet Potato Fries I’ve had (bar-none) with this I think spicy Chipotle-Basil aioli (fantastic)! Ordered a side tossed salad for $4 extra which was also delicious. My friend had Yorkshire Pudding with Roast Beef & roasted veggies & mashed potatoes-said it was also delicious. I was also impressed at how the prices were reasonable. So if you are in downtown for an event I highly recommend heading here!
Better than the Vancouver elephant & castle location, that’s about the only good thing I can say about it. Won’t be going back. Food had a slightly off taste, makes me question the freshness of the food and the food handling in the kitchen. Didn’t finish my meal. Definitely tasted like everything came out of a package, pre-made.
Wow!What a nice surprise!Was expecting a mediocre pub food style meal however everything from the Carrot & Ginger soup, the fresh salad with the honey dijon dressing to the homemade deep fried pickles were awesome!!Ordered the meatloaf dinner which the mashed potatoes were incredible, terrific mixed grilled vegetables however found the meatloaf a little dried out.When the waitress asked me how the meatloaf I showed her by flipping it over.She quickly replaced it with a tender, moist piece that was truly delicious!Would definitely recommend this restaurant and most definitely will come back again!!
Although I kind of miss the pub vibe, I do like the renovations they did here. The food is always fantastic and they have some pretty great weekly specials. The butter chicken Poutine is delicious and the pickles are divine
Awesome British-style comfort food with a cozy atmosphere. This place is versatile in that it fits well for a girl’s night out, lunch with colleagues, or an intimate date. Makes for an especially welcome experience during cold Winnipeg winters.
