Great lightly battered fried fish, crispy on outside and flaky and creamy within. Perfect with a squirt of lemon;my first pickerel. Fries did not hold their crisp against a splash of malt vinegar. Snack size was generous. Points were lost on fries; perhaps just get the fish?
awesome stuff here, we ordered the hearty pickerel. very fresh. made to order. big portions. reasonable prices. pretty happy with the order. they serve it freshly cooked. fast service too! our order was ready within 5 min! i recomend this to my friends.
If you order 1 piece of fish or the 3 piece, you still get 1 tartar sauce. Same goes for the fries. I ordered the hearty 3 piece, come with 3 piece fish and large fries. GF got 2 piece and reg fries, we both had same amount. Fish was excellent, fries are not crunchy, need a few more minutes.
Best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Consistently amazing quality. Pickerel is incredibly fresh and the fries perfectly done, also deep fried Mars bars are to die for! Would recommend visiting this place next you are at The Forks!
Nice place to go for fish and chips at the Forks. They served home made fries and big serving at reasonable price. Tartar sauce was very tasty and the fish was fresh and served hot the way I wanted. Fast and friendly staff. I’ll be back if I’m craving for fish and chips.
This is my go-to place at the Forks. The portions are GREAT for the price (for example, I always get the pickerel and fries snack combo which comes with a generous portion of fries and 1 piece of fish, and that fills me for lunch. Cost = $6). Super tasty and the fries are perfect.
Favorite place for fish and chips. Tried the deep fried Mars bar, it’s ok but cooked in the same fryer as the fish gives it a slightly fishy taste.
