Best pasta and drinks everrrr. I usually go here after work. I love the fetuccini with garlic bread and steak on the side for $10 and cheese cake shake with an extra shake in cup on the side for refill and its just $6.I’m a picky person when it comes to food. I dont usually rate 5 when I do reviews for restaurants that I’ve been too but this one really satisfied me. This deserves a perfect score.
If you’re looking for a late night casual meal, this is the place to be! Johnny G’s serves volume food for a reasonable price.Since the place opens till late, it tends to be surrounded by those who just came from the bar and might have had a few too much to drink. The ambient is meh but the staff is very friendly and the service is quick. If you feel like a good milkshake, fries, burgers at midnight, this might be the place for ya!
Like most 20 something year olds in Winnipeg -we stumble into Jonny g’s anywhere from 10pm to3am hoping to fill our intense late night cravings after a night of drinking and dancing. As I’ve frequented Jonny g’a over the last 5 years- I am always satisfied. No matter how loud the restaurant is or how obnoxious other tables or my own Table is- the staff are organized, polite and accommodating. The food is always hot and comes out fast. A late night winnipeg staple.
My friends and I friends were looking for a late late night place for some munchies after a night of festivities so we were wracking our brain for ideas. I suggested this restaurant since I had passed this place millions of times but never stepped in for a bite – THANK GOODNESS I NEVER DID. Let me tell you why; we got to the restaurant, was seated, given menus and water. The food on the menu sounded pretty good so we were excited to order but just when were we’re finalizing our choices and ready to order, a mouse.. yes, A MOUSE scurrried right through the middle of the restaurant. We were so disgusted we just walked out of there and went else where to eat non-rodent infested food.
Fries are always awesome here. Fettuccini Alfredo is a staple for my family when we come in. Weeknight specials are decently priced. I’ve been there for lunch , dinner and late night meals have been impressed with all the service.
Love this place! It’s my absolute favourite. Quality of service changes depending on who’s working. The fettucinni is AMAZING! The best pasta in Winnipeg if you ask me!
An okay spot to come to after a night of drinking and you just really want some food. It is a little over priced and I find the menu a tad deceiving. i ordered a poutine from here and the only seasoning they used was salt. My mouth was literally burning from all the sodium I was ingesting. My friends always get the peppercorn steak and seem to love it so I may have to opt for that the next time I stumble into this place.
