My husband and I love coming here – it’s our go-to place for a nourishing and hearty lunch or dinner. The owners are warm and friendly and the service has always been fantastic, whether eating in or taking out. We love the atmosphere of the old Wolseley house, which feels very cosy and inviting. I think we’ve tried almost everything on the menu (which changes on occasion, so we try to taste all the new items when they arrive) and everything’s been great. The soups are all very creative, as are the veggie rice bowls, and the pork ball appetizers are a staple. A friend of mine tried the fried chicken and said it was the best he’d every had. And when they make their home-made ice cream, it’s to die for!! They are also very helpful at accommodating gluten and dairy allergies. We recommend Khao House to everyone!
Love the menu, service and drinks. This listing says they dont have alcohol, but they do! Try the Caesar 🙂 cheese and noodles and kalapao are our favourite dishes.
The ever changing menu always has us coming back! My partner and I love this spot. The pork buns are absolutely dynamite, our other favourites are the fried chicken and the khao soi.
So tasty. They understand ramen- tasty and complex savoury broth, and nice firm and chewy noodles. I’ve had a few other items as well, including the pork buns, and other specials. Always a tasty treat coming here! Be sure to ask about the homemade ice cream- always unique!
Khao house is fantastic! The stemmed pork buns and sour pork crispy rice balls are must haves. Ramen and fried chicken are also unbelievable, and if you like spice the chilli oil is my favourite in the city. Super friendly service – all around great restaurant. Favourite new addition to west Broadway.
Menu is deceptive in a way that leads you to want to try multiple items. However, after reading the short paragraph of ingredients and then having to go through the anticipation of waiting for said items.. You are given these lacklustre dishes that are primarily centred around over cooked eggs and ‘sticky’ rice. Literally had to douse my ramen in soy sauce and Siriacha in order to obtain any flavour. The chicken was decent but nothing special..also lacked flavour but was edible. I don’t know.. Not going to say I hate it. But don’t see myself going back.
Service is always great , food is delicious, hot and can tell its made with pure love !! My go to is the kalapao and the spicy ramen they are the bomb.comKeep up the good work Khaohouse
