Service was slow but friendly, quite empty restaurant for being there around 5pm. Excited they had a calamari pita as I can never decide between calamari appetizer and pita platter. Feta fries were delicious but cost extra even though on skip the dish there was no up-charge. Friend had gyro, salad, and lemon potatoes. Overall good food, nothing amazing.
A friend and I decided to eat on the patio last night, after browsing restaurants down Corydon. I had been here once before with my fianc and we loved it, the food was delicious and our waiter was fantastic. The patio offers a great view to people watch as you eat dinner. The Poiseidon’s chicken was delicious as expected, but portions of caesar salad and side vegetables were rather small. Our waiter was friendly but was caught in an approximately ten minute chat with one table, leaving another waiter to clean up after us and take a drink order I never did get (which was okay with me in the end) It would be a 5 with a bit larger of side portions and a more attentive waiter.
We visited with another couple. The restaurant had a nice ambiance, low lighting, good amount of space between tables, a musician playing the piano live was a very nice touch. None of that would matter however if the food was no good. Luckily this was not the case! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone that would like a romantic evening, or even bring friends from out of town to show off the cuisine available in Winnipeg.
One of our go-to places to eat. Always reliable fantastic food and service. Try the fried cheese appetizer. You will not be disappointed. Just a little downgrade from higher rating because it does lack something- not sure what. Partially prepared food outside the restaurant? Not sure. Good food though. A must try.
Our impromptu after work drinks turned into a late evening event! Live music on Fridays is incredible, the musician is ultra talented, pair that with copious amounts of sangria and you’ll have a great night. We had exceptional service , the whole family checked on us, food was great and they were accommodating for all!
The food I have sampled was always good.The service is usually attentive.The avgolemono soup isalso very goodas aremost soups that are offered.I had pasta here once and quite enjoyed it. I usually have chicken here and it is always consistently good, Also, the chicken Strips are succulent, prime white meat and delicious. Lemon potatoes very savory and thefries are very good.Fabulous desserts as well. Especially the apple pie.
Tastiest chicken pita I’ve had in a long time! Worth every penny. Friendly, knowledgeable waiter. Good atmosphere. What more could you want?
