Marble Slab is undoubtedly the premiere ice cream chain establishment in the city. The ice cream treats served here are VASTLY superior to anything offered by their competitors. Every bite is packed to the BRIM with toppings; leaving your taste buds begging for more. Listen, this isnt your artisan, locally sourced, craft ice cream shop. No. This is a fully industrial flavour factory with a strong union and automated assembly.
Awesome place to end you Canada day. After eating out so much you need something sweet to end your day. This was my first visit, ordered banana split and strawberry shortcake. Honestly i do not like banana so banana split did not please me much but i liked strawberry shortcake. It is a good to go place.
This is one of those franchise ice cream parlour in the city. Their ice cream was good. It melts so fast and gets messy in your hand. It’s either their refrigeration cooling system is not working properly or they keep scoopingand scraping it that makes the ice cream softer. Overall, not bad to cool off your summer ice cream cravings.
I went here last night with a friend. It’s pretty good. They have a large selection of flavours and things you can mix into it including chocolate, candy and fruit. It’s one of those places that if it was bad, it’s your own fault because of what you put into it. The only downsides are they mash up the ice cream so much that it’s pretty soft and it melts very fast. It’s also pretty pricey for what you get. Also, they took forever scooping, scraping out and weighing the scoops of ice creams on scales on the back counter before preparing it. For a place that supposedly gets very busy this doesn’t seem like an efficient business model.
I had the initial impression that they were just another run-of-the-mill ice cream parlour. But then we had some coupons that were expiring and since we were craving for ice cream, we decided to check out Marble Slab. Surprised to find out that they served Rocky Road, which was my favourite. Tried it and absolutely loved it. We kept coming back after to buy ice cream and milkshake.
King of the Crunch. In my ongoing hunt for the best ice cream/peanut butter topping mix I ventured into Marble Slab Creamery. Wow!! The staff was friendly and loaded my ice cream with peanut butter cups. I even got to choose an ice cream flavor (and went with peanut butter 🙂 Every bite I took had a chunky piece of peanut butter cup in it. By far the best ice cream treat I’ve had so far.
