I live right next door to Mitzi’s so when I’m lazy, a takeout order of chicken fingers from this place is a common thing. They use actual chicken instead of some Frankenstein flour-chicken mix which is great, seasoned and taste pretty home made. Their fries are nothing spectacular but its not gross. You also can’t beat the original honey dill sauce from this place, its thick and super tasty.
We placed our order at 11:42 and it took until 12:20 to get our lunch order today! This was my first visit to this restaurant, and it will be my last. When you have such a simple menu, how can you take so long to serve!!! We ended up having to take it to go, because who has more than an hour lunch break? Lots of sorrys but sorry doesn’t cut it! You would think they would offer a discount, but nope they gladly took my money. The one day that I meet up with my wife for lunch in months and we don’t get to eat together!And to top it all off, there’s nothing special about this food. It’s your average run of the mill available in any mall Chinese food. AND I ordered the large version of my order, and it was pathetically small. I would hate to see what the regular size was!! I’ve had their chicken fingers when someone did take out once and they were ok, but not worth the hype. Terribly disappointing experience with this place!
Super good chicken fingers. Fresh, moist with the perfect light breading. We would never order chicken fingers off a menu anywhere but this brings them to a fresh new level. The honey dill sauce is made perfect, of course because this is the place that invented it! They also offer a few standard Canadian-ized Chinese food options which are decent. Sweet and sour sauce is a dollop of delicious sugar-goo. Fries are nothing special, the are the frozen crinkle variety. But this place is really all about the chicken fingers so who really cares about the rest anyways?
Came here for lunch with my friend since my friend had a craving for Mitzi’s chicken fingers. Usually get the 5 pc strips with rice and mixed veggies. Comes with a small bowl of soup (rice, broth, green onion) Pretty quick here too which is nice if you’re working downtown.
Mitzi is a casual family restaurant. They serve the best chicken fingers in town!!!! Whenever my significant other and I are craving for chicken fingers, we will make a drive to Mitzi! The service there is great and the food arrives quick upon ordering! They are very reasonably priced and the quality of food is excellent! The chicken fingers are crispy and non-greasy.You can honestly go in and out and be filled with a delicious meal in half an hour! Check it out and you won’t regret it!!!
I need to go back, I haven’t been here in a long time.We used to get this delivered for luch at work many years ago and I’ve been there for takeout a few times.They have amazing chicken fingers and they have really good home made honey dill sauce.Their coleslaw is really really good too!
I’ve been coming her continuously and I absolutely love everything from the soup to the chicken fingers to the coleslaw. The service was alright, nothing too special, but the food was amazing.
