Sometimes a restaurant is more than just the food…(sometimes)7/10 over all rating (but lots of good reasons to still go there)12/10 – for service, amazing waitress, very attentive , always very helpful and happy (wish I could remember her name , but Im getting old and forgetful) kudos to the waitress for stellar service. 10/10 – the lady who greeted us at the door, she was happy, listened to my irritating table request and humoured me like a true professional. 10/10 – for bringing lemon for my wifes water8/10 – I wanted the chicken pot pie but apparently they no longer have it, so I ordered the next unhealthiest item on the menu, poutine, darn good poutine. Loved the gravy.6/10 – wifes chicken burger…well…ok…definitely not the best out there. 15/10 – we joined our friends and it made the evening amazing , conversation was awesome. 8/10 – our friends ordered the fish and chips, said it was good and never said a negative word so I guess Ill give their plates an 810/10 – location , its at the Forks, it was an amazing evening , warm and lots of people. 7/10 – Price, once again, free would get a 10 but we all know that world doesnt exist. Fair price for fair food. 5/10 – menus, not what was actually written on them, the condition of them. They look like they were given to a classroom of 5 year olds for finger painting and slobber painting, quite comical as to the condition of these menus. I think we would go again on another warm spring day to meet friends over a meal here.
Being where the restaurant was located we thought this place was going to be a hit, however we were quite wrong. The waitress wasnt friendly and the food was horrible. The ingredients were too simple and it tasted very bland. Zero effort. I could have honestly slapped it together myself in my own kitchen for free. Will never be coming back!
