I would have to agree with the other reviewers that you can’t go wrong with the prices. But don’t expect too much with the food and service. The spicy spaghetti I ordered was not spicy at all rather lacking in flavour. The bread and minestrone soup was decent.
The bread is fantastic, the salad-nothing special, just lettuce with store bought dressing. I had the spicy meat sauce, which was not very spicy but had a nice flavor. Overall it was not a meal to be excited about but It’s very hard to find another restaurant to give you a meal like that for such a low price.
The Old Spaghetti Factory at the Forks is my family’s go-to restaurant. The price ranges from $10.74-$18.95, you can get yourself a nice three-course meal. Each entree comes with bread, minestrone soup/green salad to start, your choice of entree, tea/coffee and your choice of ice-cream for dessert. I always walk out with nothing but satisfaction!Since the restaurant is at the Forks, the weekends are exceptionally busy! My family and I did a walk-in at 5pm on a Saturday evening for a group of 3, we had to wait for 35-40 minutes to finally be seated. My suggestion to you is that always make a reservation if you decided to dine in on a weekend. This place is family-oriented so casual attire will get you by. I’d highly recommend you to check it out if you’ve never been before. It’s a perfect place for groups/couples. If you’re clueless on what to get, my all-time favourite is the Chicken Alfredo with Mushroom and Mascarpone Cheese Ravioli. It’s a must-try!!!
The atmosphere is a bit dusty; the service subpar; the food okay. But the REAL advantage of this place is how affordable it is. If you’re in The Forks and looking for lunch, you really can’t go wrong with spaghetti, salad (or soup) and a loaf of bread for $10.
I dined here recently with a friend and it made me wonder why I haven’t been here in so long, it was a really good experience. The service was great and the food portions were huge. I had the pesto linguine and my friend had the old classic spaghetti with meat sauce and we were both very pleased with the dishes. The bread is to die for, I filled up on too much of it. I will definitely be back.
They need to define their menu with more Italian style food and not have it so westernized. Other than that food and drinks were delectable and nice, Drinks more than food.
Nothing special. I find that they do not drain the pasta properly before adding the sauce so I get a watery tasteless meal. The amount of food served is decent.
