Disgusting. Papa John’s is all the rage in the states so I figured it would be good. It was not. It was the worst pizza I have ever had…ever. And I love pizza. I would prefer to eat a pizza pop than eat this again. I had the Canadian Classic and ordered their huge chocolate chip cookie for dessert. As soon as I saw the pizza I realized something was odd. There was cheese, yes, and even though it was melted it felt like it should have been cooked longer. There was a bit of broil to the cheese but nearly not enough. I lifted a slice out of the box and there were so many toppings under the cheese…loads…too much. They were falling out. As I neared the top of the slice there were no toppings. All the toppings are packed toward the centre. The crust was gross. No flavor, Nothing. A garlic dipping sauce came with the pizza. I love garlic so I was excited. It was the most disgusting sauce I ever tasted. It didn’t taste like garlic…I can’t describe the flavor because it was so odd. The pizza was so bad that it was thrown out. Not packed away for leftovers but tossed in the garbage. I have never willingly thrown out pizza before. The only good thing was the giant chocolate chip cookie. It was hot out of the oven and a nice treat but I wouldn’t go back just for that. What’s worse is that in terms of price, it’s not inexpensive which makes it even more undesirable.
