We have Come here a few times and it’s been ok but this time was terrible. There was a training waiter who the others allowed to handle all the tables alone resulting in wrong orders, loss of a cake we brought in, pop lacking the flavour syrup, salad with no dressing and burnt chicken Parmesan. Oh and no toilet paper in the bathroom whatsoever. Disappointing because we’ve always liked this place.
Came in to eat after going to Float Calm because it was close. The menu was def outdated but served its purpose. Seemed to serve a lot of Greek dishes. New ownership, it seems it is being now run by a very nice Asian family and is following along with the menu that was previously there. I had the chicken fingers. It was ok, the batter was soft on the outside where I am use to a crunchy batter. Id like to see them change the menu to cooking food they’re actually passionate about making
My father’s been going to this place for a few months and have been wanting to bring us here. I gotta say, there food is absolutely amazing. It’s an interesting style and technique and the PV has a unique environment. I would suggest anyone to come here regardless if you are in Winnipeg for work or for a family trip. The owner of the shop is very hilarious and loves to talk. And of course, the meal is… Amazing. No complaints
We used to come here during lunch 3-4timesa monthwith co-workers from my previous job. They have a special lunch for the day at a reasonable price. I normally ordered for the chicken or pork souvlaki meal with a choice of fresh salad or soup of the dayto start with. I would say there’s nothing to rave about their food. It’s just OK. Service is fast and friendly though, but at times can be a hit and miss. I’ve heard their ribs are good but they don’t serve it during lunch.
Came here with my BF last Friday. I have been here a few times before, but not within the last year or so. I believe the original owners (ones on the menu) sold this place, and now run by a Chinese couple/ family. Food is OK but nothing like it used to be. We ordered 2 apps, calamari & spanokopita. Calamari was decent but the spanokopita was terrible! It tasted frozen and not fresh! For main, we had the pork chop dinner special & lamb chops. Portion size was great, but food was just OK. The lemon roasted potatoes while still decent, was nothing like how it used to be. The quality has definitely gone down hill.
Great breakfast special at $5.50. Not the best coffee I’ve had but it’s drinkable. Dining room could use some updating. Our server was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable and super effecient. I’d go back for sure.
One of the best prices for a breakfast special I’ve come across. $5.50 gets you 2 eggs, choice of breakfast meats, hashbrowns, toast, and a couple orange slices. And this deal is good every day of the week up until 4pm! Found the potatoes under seasoned, but better that than too salty. Good bang for your buck.
