3 of us came here on an early Saturday evening. There were only 3 tables there. Waited about 10 mins to get 2 drinks and a water. The servers were standing by the counter not doing very much as we stared at our drinks from afar. We ordered the chicken fingers and fries and garlic cheese bread. The garlic cheese bread was a rip off. It came with 6 pieces (we ate 3 before taking the picture). The only thing good about this meal were the fries. They were tasty! Clearly won’t be back.
After many years of coming to this establishment we decided to watch the fights as per usual here for the fights. I ordered a glass of red wine and given only two options and ordered the Naked Grape Shiraz which was the more expensive out of the two, only to find out they had a Greek wine on special which I asked for a sample and got and liked it much better and ordered that as my second glass thanks to my own findings out. We ordered cajun wings and my son ordered chicken fettuccine alfredo. Too quite awhile and hour actually and it came out the wings were cold and so overcooked they looked like tiny pieces of chicken jerky, and lacked flavor and even salt. My son’s alfredo had three chIld size bites of chicken in a bland, cold, and watery sauce. The chicken wings did not do well in my tummy and was dying to order a peppermint tea to settle my stomach, and my son wanted to order dessert…I never got the chance, almost 2 hours later and the last fight I am still waiting to order it….I guess we are spending the rest of our night at the McDonald’s drive thru….. yes it got busy, Yes the servers were running off their feet towards the end, but it was almost dead when we ordered and ate so there was no excuse not to come back and ask us how our food and drinks were and if we needed anything else…..I am still sitting here I’ve finally had enough and got up and asked for the bill….still sitting here still watching the last fight. Disappointed with everything but the fights. I don’t know what happened to the quality of food here but whoah! Really gone downhill. The 1.5 was for the UFC entertainment factor….that’s it.
Tried this location twice and never disappointed. We did enjoy the Greek ribs and the seafood loaf in every each visit and has always beengood. We were impressed with their wine selection and triedtheGreek white wine (Suavignon Blanc)and went well withour appetizers. Fast friendly service. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak hours.
I’ve eaten here many times and I’ve never really had a problem. I do like the menu, there is definitely plenty to choose from. I always go back to the chicken souvlaki pita which is delicious. I also greatly enjoy the seafood loaf. The service is hit and miss but that is fairly standard and I’ve never had awful service. It’s a handy spot for the down town lunch crowd. I’ll be back.
It’s not the best restaurant in the area and probably not the worst. The food is expensive and at times salty. Service is good.Overall, it’s just an okay restaurant.
Came here the other day and had a decent meal with a friend. Tried to order the prosecco but was told when it was brought to the table that it was actually $4 more than what was on the menu we decided against it and got the chardonnay house wine. The waitress was attentive and kept our water filled stopped by a lot though. Other than that good service. I ended up ordering the taco salad but I was quite surprised when there was no meat that came with it for $16. When I looked at the menu again there was the option to add chicken to it for an extra $3. I just thought it was extremely odd for a taco salad to be considered a taco salad without anything that had taco seasoning or flavour to it. The salad was pretty good though which is purely from the fresh lettuce that was served otherwise it was just packaged shredded cheese, huge pieces of tomato, and red onion.
First time I tried a Pony Corral’s and I had a difficult time trying to get my waitress’s attention. What’s funny is the fact me and my boyfriend were the only ones there besides one other lady in the entire restaurant :/ the food was alright, we had a plate that gave us enough to serve two people, which was decent but the price was a little steep for a bar atmosphere was fit more for a 3-4 star place – and there food was not at that quality, the drinks to say the least were okay, but again the service and timing of everything was pretty sad considering it was pretty dead, and when she took our order she literally sat down at our table to take it!!
